Lake Buchak is located on the outskirts of the village of the same name, Kanevsky district, Cherkasy region. It was formed in 1984 during the construction of the Kanev hydroelectric power station, as a result of which part of the village was flooded. The new lake quickly gained popularity among locals and tourists: it is fed by springs, has clear water, beautiful nature and a lot of fish.
