Galician Jewish kneipa "Under the Golden Rose" is a colorful restaurant of Jewish and Galician cuisines. It is located in the historical Jewish quarter of Lviv, near the Golden Rose synagogue destroyed in 1942. The establishment reproduces the homeliness and warmth of a traditional Jewish home: here you will find an old buffet, handmade tablecloths, a sewing machine, a violin, irons on coals, candles and minors. One of the conceptual traditions of the restaurant was the washing of the hands of visitors in a basin before a meal. The peculiarity of the restaurant's menu is the absence of prices - this allows visitors to bargain with the waiters about the ordered dishes after invoicing.
It offers 4 cozy halls and a summer terrace surrounded by fruit trees, flowers and ornamental bushes. The restaurant's specialties are hummus, stuffed pike, chopped liver, dumplings with fish, tsimes.
