In Mariupol, on the banks of the Kalchik River, there is an amazingly beautiful Wildlife Park. Until 2014, this park was located in the Greek urban-type settlement of Sartana near Mariupol and was called "Vashura Village". Entrance is 70 UAH for an adult and 50 UAH for a child. But it's worth it! The animals were moved to the city by the owner, a resident of Sartana Vashur, and not only moved, but made living conditions for all animals as close as possible to the wild. Lions, tigers, bears have very large well-groomed enclosures, and the animals themselves are very well-groomed. I have something to compare with, we were in Odessa, Kiev, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk zoos and menageries, not to mention different tents. The park is divided into several locations, according to species and types of animals. There are camels, llamas, ponies, horses.
Rural courtyard with goats, rabbits from newborns to free-roaming hares, and throughout the entire park: ) Pheasants and peacocks of various species, types and breeds. Curly pigeons - it's generally something! There are a lot of waterfowl, which have aviaries right under the open sky on the river - pelican, swans, ducks of all varieties and breeds. A couple of leopards - something! Whether they have a mating season, or ...I don’t know, but behave like people behave ...we stood for an hour and looked at their habits and behavior - everyone understands, but they can’t say. Tiger cubs - kittens, ahag, the caretaker, said that at three months everyone is already tearing a rag like Bobik. But the six-month-old bear cub Gerda is just sitting on a leash, playing with the kids like a cat. Ferrets, parrots, lambs, a monkey that ate our ice cream))) And of course! Real Greek Sartan chebureks!! ! Which is not tastier! We spent almost 5 hours in the park and did not notice how time flew by!
I am proud that Mariupol is a resort city, beautiful, rich in various cultures and nationalities, sights and attractions!
