The house of vintage cognacs "Tavria" - the leading producer and exporter of this noble drink in Ukraine, dates back to 1889 from the winery of the Swiss colonists. The raw material base of the Tavria plant includes 30 varieties of grapes grown on an area of 1300 hectares using a drip irrigation system. The plant produces up to 7 million liters of ordinary, vintage and collection cognacs per year.
Since 1973, the Museum “House of Vintage Cognacs “Tavria”” has been operating at the enterprise. In its five halls, 6,500 thousand items of storage are presented, telling about the history of viticulture and winemaking in the southern region. The company organizes group and individual wine tours with four types of cognac and wine tastings.
