Mikulinetsky Castle is located in the village of Mikulintsy, 23 kilometers south of Ternopil. It was built in the middle of the 16th century. In 1675 the castle was taken by the Turks and after that it lost its significance. Mikulinetsky Castle is one of the best preserved castles in Ukraine. It is privately owned. Two towers, the castle courtyard and fragments of the walls have been preserved.
