Dendrological park Trostyanets is located in the Ichnyansky district of the Chernihiv region. The territory of the arboretum is 204 hectares, more than 60 thousand trees have been planted here. The park was founded in 1833 by Ivan Mikhailovich Skoropadsky. In 2004, the arboretum was awarded the status of "National Treasure of Ukraine".

Wonderful pastime
27.07 were on excursions in Akhtyrka and Trostyanets. I liked everything very much. Tour guide Tatyana Viktorovna is very attentive and knowledgeable. The guide, who was in the estate of Leopold Koenig, is a real enthusiast in her field, she talks very excitingly. In the Neskuchnoye arboretum, none of the horror stories was confirmed - there were not so many mosquitoes, I saw only a couple of gadflies. There were no bats at all (although there are mouse minks in the ground). I really liked the rest on the Vorskla River.→

Arboretum in Trostyanets, Sumy region
Just 190 kilometers from Kyiv (the Kyiv-Sumy highway) there is the city of Trostyanets, which is located on the banks of the Boromlya River at the confluence of the Lyudzha River (Ichnyansky district of the Sumy region). Large forest areas adjoin the city. Here is a wonderful DENDROPARK! Highways H-14 and T-1913 pass through the city, as well as the Sumy-Lyubotin railway line, Smorodino and Rupino stations. The Kyiv-Sumy road (highway H-07) is not cluttered with vehicles on a day off, so the trip will not be tiring.→
