Also known as Adamovka Park, since its foundation in 1895 it has been the most popular promenade place for locals and vacationers. Moreover, the main direction of the promenade is the most correct: from the Lower Pump Room to the Upper (well, or for the elderly - vice versa), just make a pause prescribed by the doctor between taking some water.
The main attraction of the park, in addition to the cleanest air (which is not surprising, since Truskavets is one of the most environmentally friendly cities in Ukraine), I would call, of course, squirrels, which are almost tame here and will never refuse the offered treats (cashews and almonds are ignored). ). ; ))
Although we did not see squirrels on our first day of our visit and began to worry if something had happened - the local dogs looked very well-fed and satisfied with life.
: ) But already on the second day we noticed these dark brown fluffy animals in different parts of the park - you see, they just started to get out after the winter.
In addition to squirrels and dogs, there is also a huge variety of birds in the park - tits, woodpeckers, jays, and many others, whose names I just don’t know. Some are almost as tame as squirrels, and, a little embarrassed, will still land on your palm for a treat.
Another attraction of the park is sculptures, both ancient and modern. Among the first, it is worth mentioning the monument to Adam Mickiewicz, opened in the park back in 1900, and the statue of the Mother of God from about the same time. Now it has been chosen by local musicians for amateur concerts.
But more modern sculptures sometimes cause amazement - for the most part they are simple and understandable to an inexperienced viewer, but near some you will have to think about it and turn on your imagination (and it will not always tell you the right decision); )))
And finally, do not miss another source of mineral water in the park - "Yuzya", known for its rejuvenating properties due to the presence of glycerin in the water. Ladies resting at the resort consider it their daily duty to wash themselves with water from this source.
In general, the Kurortny Park is a wonderful place for unhurried walks, detached contemplation and philosophical reflection. Very much in line with the relaxed rhythm of resort life. : )))
