Intercession Cathedral is located in the very center of the city. It was consecrated in 2007 after 14 years of construction. The place was not chosen by chance: it was here that the main city temple, destroyed by the Bolsheviks, was located. The modern cathedral is a beautiful 53-meter five-domed building, decorated with stucco and decorative cornices. Its interior is distinguished by exquisite paintings.
