One of the most interesting monuments of Simferopol, perhaps, is Vorontsov's house in the Salgirka park. It was built in 1827 by the architect F. Elson. The house stands out for its clear architectural planning and the Doric style colonnade, as well as a terrace that descends to the park with steps. On either side of them are marble lions. The kitchen building with windows and chimneys in the Gothic style, stylized as the Bakhchisaray Palace, is also interesting. The house is located in the Salgirka park, founded at the beginning of the 19th century by the famous academician P.S. Pallas.

House in the Botanical Garden

Compared to the Vorontsov Palace in Alupka, the Vorontsov House in Simferopol is a small dacha. But there is something that makes them similar to each other - these are chic parks. Vorontsov's house is located in the largest and most beautiful green oasis of Simferopol - the TNU Botanical Garden, which is part of the huge Salgirka park.→
