Glade of fairy tales and zoo Skazka

Yalta Zoo
Crimea, Yalta
Above Yalta, above the South Coast Highway in a forested gorge, there is the Glade of Fairy Tales, a museum of sculpture and floristry. Hundreds of heroes of fairy tales are made from different materials, and often nature itself has already worked them out of funny snags and growths.

The rapidly expanding Skazka Zoo is also located here, the largest private zoo in Ukraine, where you can feed and stroke animals, and take pictures with Baba Yaga and other fairy-tale characters.

A little higher is the hotel "Glade of Fairy Tales", which complemented the facilities of the former campsite. Even the parking lot here is adorned with gigantic robotic arms and legs left over from filming.

From the campsite to the top of the picturesque Krestovaya (Stavri-Kaya) mountain, the recently renovated Botkinskaya trail, named after S.P. Botkin (1832–1889), a well-known general practitioner, researcher and promoter of climate therapy in the South Coast, leads.

Most of all, my child liked the house of Baba Yaga. The theatrical performance is still in a couple of corners of this clearing. I looked at the patterns on the tree, and the child was delighted with each new fairy tale character found. Don't waste your time, but it will be boring without children.

Well chosen place for the zoo. Beauty around! There are many exotic plants on the territory. A ZhYvotnye - it's just a song! Sleek, imposing. I especially liked the white tigers. Tymoshenko gave their mother, named Tigrulya, to the zoo at one time. Subsequently, she (Tigryulya) gave birth to the same white cubs, and it was just a miracle! To tickle your nerves, you can walk along the bridge over the enclosure with predators. And they lazily look at you so appraisingly - are you tasty, or not so much? That would fall off!.

Pelicans are very funny - they run around with their tails for visitors and beg for food : )) A very holistic, capacious and interesting zoo. What about children, adults walk with happy smiles from ear to ear and come out the same. Recomend for everybody. Clean and tidy, very tidy.

For animals - expanse in the form of huge enclosures. It is clean, the animals are clearly well-groomed, that they are taken care of. For families with small children, this is generally entertainment for the whole day. You can feed the animal, food is sold at the entrance. You can even feed the tigers. The best impression is walking pelicans, striving to snatch the fish out of their hands : ))

Lovely animals, fabulous place. Only these unbearably terrible cages are depressing, which, by the way, also fence kindergartens throughout the post-Soviet space. Remove them and put human ones, normal ones. Nature is incredible. The entrance fee is 500 rubles.
