The Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens are located west of Palm Beach, Florida. This Japanese oasis in Florida was founded in 1977. The museum was opened in 1993. On the territory of the park there are Japanese gardens, rivers, lakes, stone compositions. In the museum, you can see an exhibition of Japanese culture, a theater and a library, as well as take part in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony.

Paradise for lovers of relaxation!
I am a great admirer of Japanese culture, which has come to us through the centuries. This unshakable calmness is incredibly calming. Therefore, the first point on my journey was the Japanese Gardens and the Morikami Museum. Just what you need in the modern world, with its frantic pace. Absolutely indescribable atmosphere. Now for the practical part - there is a water tank in the garden, it does not hurt to stock up on repellents, and of course, comfortable shoes - you will have to walk a lot. But it's worth it! Recommend.→

Full immersion
Americans joke that people move to Florida to die, because it's so boring there. As for me, a tourist will definitely not be able to get bored here. Even in a place like the Japanese Museum and Morikami Garden. It is the only museum in the US dedicated entirely to Japanese culture. The area now occupied by the garden was a settlement of Japanese farmers who moved to South Florida in the early 20th century. In the 70s, the owner of the lands, George Morikami, bequeathed them to the Palm Beach community, with the condition that there would be a park here.→
