The Field Museum of Natural History is located on Lake Michigan south of Millennium Park. It was founded in 1893 and has been housed in its current neoclassical building since 1921. The exhibits of the museum are collected from all over the world, but first of all it is famous for its paleontological collection headed by "Sue" - the most complete skeleton of a female tyrannosaurus rex.
