The Chrysler Building is located at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and 42nd Street. The construction of the 320-meter building, made in the Art Deco style, was completed in 1930. The Chrysler Building is considered the most beautiful skyscraper in New York: luxurious lobbies and elevators, a shiny stainless steel “crown”, metal sculptures of eagles. In 1976, the skyscraper was given the status of a US National Historic Landmark.
