Shoshone Falls

Shoshone Falls, Niagara West, Shoshone Falls
USA, Salt Lake City
Shoshone is a waterfall on the Snake River in the south of the US state of Idaho, 3 km from the city of Twin Falls. The waterfall got its name from the name of the local tribe of Indians - the Shoshone. The height of the water fall is 64.7 m, which is 14 m higher than the famous Niagara Falls, the length of the waterfall is 274-315 m, depending on the season. Due to its size, the Shoshone Falls are sometimes referred to as the "Niagara of the West". The best time to watch the falls is mid-spring and June. To do this, a park with a picturesque view of the waterfall is equipped, where places for walking, picnics and swimming are offered for a small fee.

Dear travelers! If you have traveled all over Europe and do not know what else to surprise your eyes with! I advise you to visit the beautiful USA. Each state is interesting and beautiful in its own way. This is not Austria or Germany with so many majestic sights, but such nature as in America still needs to be looked for. You can visit the Shoshone Falls on your way to Boise. To say that he is beautiful is to say nothing. From a height it looks breathtaking, but when you go down, you just feel like a part of nature.
