I went to May in 2018 .... do not take excursions from kote ... you can buy from locals twice as cheap. In Tbilisi, prices are not much cheaper, but in Batumi, excursions are much better and take longer. 1) EXCURSIONS: MTSKHETA - you can go by yourself for 20 UAH (2 GEL round trip) from the Dedube train station, the Tbilisi-Mtskheta minibus runs for 15 minutes and you are there.
