I noticed the hotel, thanks to the author of the previous and very detailed review. I realized that we need it at the InterContinental Doha Hotel on the beach.

They arrived in the evening. The hotel sparkled with luxury and chic. We were greeted with warmth and smiles. We passed the check through metal detectors, took away the kitchen knife in the case and put it in the safe before our departure. In the evening, there are no Russian speakers at the reception, but our knowledge of English was enough for a quick settlement. They asked for a deposit, banknotes older than 2009 are not accepted.
They issued 2 cards from the Superior room No. 603 on the 6th floor, overlooking the city and a little bit of the bay. There is no balcony.
The room is more than spacious, clean and beautiful! And most importantly - complete silence! Everything is comfortable, the bed is snow-white and very soft, on a huge, simply royal bed. But for my son, an extra bed, well, what a squeaky horror (The room has a huge and spacious closet. The bathroom is also large, there is everything you need. Towels are snow-white, soft and fragrant, of different sizes, 4 pieces each. Drinking water is added as needed. Tea and coffee pods refilled daily Minibar stocked but for a fee There is a safe, iron and ironing board Plenty of sockets making them easy to use Just a weird location No sockets in the bathroom and hallway near the mirrors! I found an outlet under the table!! ! and to turn on the hair dryer, you have to crawl under the table!... that's not so bad. . . you have to dry your hair almost lying down, otherwise the cord won't reach(((And laughter and sin, thought. . .
WI-FI throughout is not even bad, only intermittently on the beach.
I'm going to the beach. Towels are issued under the room number, huge and you can take more than one. We were unlucky with the weather in January, the wind and the sea are cold. But "beachboy" every morning adequately placed ashtrays at each umbrella. Cleaned the sand and washed the sun loungers. Everywhere is very clean and tidy. Well, the restaurant is generally above all praise. Service and maintenance is excellent, everything works smoothly, without too much fuss.
Food is a foodie's dream! Coffee, my favorite "double espresso visa hot milk" fragrant and very tasty, is served every morning at no extra charge. Juices are fresh and delicious. There are a lot of pastries, fruits and vegetables. Breakfasts are the same.
In the morning you do not have to stand in line for an omelet, just order your dish, call the table number and they will bring it to you. I called the dinners "guzzling" sorry, but everything is so fresh and tasty that even after trying a little bit I already overate ( Sushi, very decent, was served at a separate counter every evening. There is a lot of everything, everything is clean and beautiful. Sweets, my weakness , in general, works of art of a local confectioner. Drinks, any, at dinner are very expensive!
Respect to the waiters, they remembered our tastes and wishes from the first time.
The contingent of guests at the hotel is diverse, but mostly foreigners, there are very few Russian speakers. Many stayed for 2-3 days.
There were also ours. . . from Ukraine. . . honestly? ashamed of the nation.
To light music....in an elegant restaurant... dress code... romantic atmosphere... here he is....a guest in a tracksuit, elbow above his head with a phone in his hand to his ear... communicates to the whole hall on the phone, loudly saying that he was in Qatar and how expensive beer was here!
There is nothing interesting outside the hotel. To the metro station 5-7 minutes on foot, and very budget get to almost anywhere in Doha. In the near future, 3 more lines will open. Taxis can be taken at the entrance of the hotel, inexpensive and convenient.
From the hotel to the main attractions, and to the nearest mall, a free minibus takes time. The schedule can be obtained from the reception. Everything is thought out.
If we return, we will definitely return to this hotel, everything was very pleasant!
