I liked Romania very much. The Carpathians are something magnificent.

We traveled on our own, in order to obtain a visa, we booked the 3-star Eden Hotel at VandInternational (in fact, the overpayment is 2 times exactly). We drove through the Kaluga region, Bryansk, triathlon customs (stood for 4 hours, but did not really dig), Kyiv, Vinnitsa. The roads are generally not bad, in Ukraine the AIM was tortured - they put up a road work sign, the limit is 50 km / h and they are grazing - although no repairs are being carried out. The only thing that saved us was that for them our crusts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are of great importance - they respect us. The border with Moldova was crossed in Mikhailovo-Podolsky, customs officers got to the bottom of everything, I do not advise you to go there. The Moldovan-Romanian border in Sculeni is normal, only cigarettes are taken away only 2 packs per nose! In the same place, by the way, there is a good dutik, Malibu costs 7 euros!

There are few gays in Romania, mostly radars, which our navigator informed us about, but we didn’t violate them there - the fines are big! Roads are fine too.

Hotel Eden is located a little away from the main street, there are 2 cafes nearby, the Taraneasca restaurant is very good! You can't see the mountains from the hotel! Only pines and pines again, and even then not from every room. And so normal, clean, breakfast is fresh, but monotonous.

While we lived there, we went to Bran Castle - nothing special, Brasov is a beautiful town, you can take a walk, Poiana Brasov is a very developed tourist town, everything is modern and beautiful. Sinai and Rashnov also pleased, beautifully. Especially Peles Castle - indescribable splendor, I didn’t expect to see this... a little expensive, of course, but at least you need to walk along the 1st floor. Excursions are organized only in English, they are not allowed to walk on their own! Prices can be viewed on the website of the castle, they change, but not less than 200 rubles per person for 1 floor.

We drove along Transfargash - very beautiful, the best thing I saw in Romania !! ! I counted about 30 waterfalls along the road. But the road is not very smooth in places.

From there we went to Sigioshara, a very old unique city, a visit to the clock tower is a must, a cool view! Stopped for camping in Villa Franca - horror

Then we went to the owl, the people - darkness, the entrance to the lake is 150 rubles per person, it is very difficult to rent a hotel, because. this was Friday and full of Romanians with families. But the lake itself is interesting - you lie on it like a float, you don't drown. There are healing muds. After a long search, we stopped at a campsite already on the outskirts of the city, opposite the motel, I forgot the name, but then I’ll see if anyone needs it - a very clean wooden house, everything is in flowers, a lot of people with children, stands on a mountain stream.

Then we went to Pride - a huge salt cave, but somehow we were not particularly impressed. There is a whole town, with a church, shops, a play area. people come there for the whole day with lung diseases.

The final destination is Lacu Rocha, also nothing special, boats with tourists float on this lake, in the middle of stumps, you can’t swim there.

We drove through the Bikaz gorge, rocky mountains hanging so close....

Through the city of Yasy they returned to Skuleni. ATTENTION! The road DJ29 on the navigator is a nightmare!! ! Across the field, without asphalt, some barriers on the way, it is illegal, apparently some kind, do not drive on it!! ! It goes straight along the border, parallel to it.

In Moldova, they bought Brynza, wine, cognac in Balti. in Ungheni they bought 3 carpets for factories - super, at customs there was a sluggish desire to get to the bottom of them (like no more than 2 is possible), but they let me go.

Regarding money - you will not change rubles in Romania, if you eat with them, then change them in Balti, there they will change your rubles for Romanian lei, the exchange rate is about the same. In general, it is most profitable to withdraw from the card through ATMs, the rate is better. It is better to fill up with gasoline in Moldova, cheaper than in Romania (Romanians pay 40 rubles per liter)

There will be questions, ask, I will answer.
