We concluded that we would not go to Russia anymore to rest.
1. The boarding house itself. Our room.
In principle, there is nothing negative to say here. Is that the price of a double room is too high. For comparison: our room cost us more than our friends room in a private hotel located nearby. As for the living conditions, here I can note the inconvenience associated with living in a room where there is no shower. On the pictures on the Internet, everything looks so attractive - in fact, we got a bathroom with a terribly dull dark green tile and no shower. No, of course there was a shower, but it was very inconvenient, as the entire bathroom was splashed. It is quite possible that in other rooms everything is completely different. We had a standard room. Otherwise, everything seemed to suit, the furniture was new, as promised, a TV, a refrigerator, a telephone, a balcony with a side sea view. On the balcony there is a plastic table and chairs. You can enjoy the view of the sea.

2. Nutrition.
You can choose between buffet and a la carte dining.
We tried both on ourselves. The buffet strikes with the absence of any service. Arriving 5 minutes after the start of the meal, you find that many dishes are over, and no one even thinks to report food. The logic is simple - if you want to eat, come early, be frolic, quickly grab a plate and sweep away everything, while something else has survived. As for the variety of food - yes, indeed, there are more dishes on offer here than in a regular dining room. But we felt too uncomfortable in these "queues for cutlets and sausages", and the fact that due to a slight delay you can remain hungry was also depressing, so we decided to switch to custom meals in the canteen.
Here, too, a couple of times the service failed: they did not bring the required number of servings to the table. There were 2-3 dishes to choose from. I won't talk about the quality, maybe I'm too spoiled? I don't know, I didn't like it, neither did my husband. We almost always left half-starved. everything is traditional, insipid, drinks are almost always tea, if compote, then it was hard to understand that it was compote, it was so heavily diluted. No juice!
Fruits were given, but I didn’t always want to eat them either, pears, peaches are hard, like grass in taste. We have lost weight! I would like to wish, of course, to the workers of the Adlerkurort catering that they cook tastier, and do not hack like with compote, for example, or with ham, since pieces of lard and sinews often came across in it. Is it really impossible to cut off what people will not eat anyway? Is it really impossible to keep track of how the dishes on the buffet end and bring new ones? This is not a service, comrades, it's just some kind of USSR! But this is Adler! One of the most famous resorts in the country! Overall, we were very dissatisfied with the food. If you really go to rest in Dolphin, then eat not in the dining room!
3. Cafes, shops.

But on the other hand, there is simply no alternative food in the resort town of Adler. On the day of arrival, we sat in a cafe for 610 rubles. Ordered 400 gr. barbecue, and the waitress warned that less than 400 gr. no order, Caesar salad and 2 beers. Moreover, before placing an order, we waited for about 20 minutes until they paid attention to us, then we had to wait about 40 minutes for the barbecue, after which they brought it to us cooled down. It tasted bland and harsh. I'm not talking about the fact that the weight was clearly not 400 grams. Well, okay, we just got unlucky, we decided. But the mood was clearly spoiled. We decided to go to another cafe, but I immediately flew out of there in horror when I saw the line "mashed potatoes - 40 rubles" on the menu. I just felt bad, terribly bad, yes, I know that everything is expensive at the resort, but not that much? In general, the desire to go to cafes somehow disappeared....for the whole vacation. The service provided clearly does not justify the prices, and the quality leaves much to be desired. Later, in the area where private hotels are located, on the advice of friends, we finally managed to try a good barbecue. It's a pity I don't know either the name of this place or the name of the owner, but this seems to be the only barbecue in the entire resort town, which was eaten with pleasure, and the price was reasonable.
As for the cost of food in stores, the situation is the same as with mashed potatoes. You can spend a fortune on sparkling water. A bottle of Sprite - 60 rubles. As you like it, in the Moscow region it costs 40 rubles (2 liters). Even at train stations prices are lower. There are no price tags anywhere! It turns out that the sellers sell at the price at which it is profitable for them ???
4. Beach.
We really regretted that we went to this place, it was because of the beach. The beach of the resort town disappointed specifically. Very small, narrow, trains run overhead. Hence the very frequent breakwaters. In several places, some suspicious-looking streams flow into the sea - I thought it was sewage and was horrified. By presenting a visiting card of a vacationer, one could get a sunbed (piece of wood). Decent plastic deck chairs were issued at a price of 50! rubles. Upset and the fact that the opening hours of the beach from 8-00 to 20-00. That is, if you want to go to the beach later, look at the night sea, then you can only get to the wild one, which is located at some distance.
5. Excursions.
Insanely beautiful nature in these parts. However, the tours are expensive. for example - a trip to Abkhazia with a visit to Lake Ritsa, Pitsunda, Stalin's dacha, Novofaonskaya cave and monastery cost us about 3000 for two with food. A restaurant on Lake Ritsa is something. In general, go yourself - you will see everything. It's sad that everything is unkempt there, a terrible toilet. But still beauty, the beauty of nature is the main thing!
6. If you want to see beautiful nature - unforgettable impressions are provided on excursions! In all other respects, I do not advise you to go there.
