We rested in the Petrograd Fort in June 2016. To say that this is a sharashka is to say nothing. Checked into not very tidy rooms, which are considered junior suites (2 children and 2 adults). The room has one double bed and one old sofa, which should be laid out forward and form 2 more beds. But since it rests on the TV stand, it does not fully unfold, so there is only one extra place, not 2, as they say. The sets of linen do not match the size of the bed, everything was constantly knocked down. The linen is old, shabby, stale, the towels are stained. There are no accessories and utensils in the room, for using your own electrical appliances - a fine (including the forbidden kettle, iron). There are always ANTS in the room! The bathroom is so small and untidy that I don't even want to talk about it. Plumbing is leaking, everything is in a very deplorable state, if we talk about comfort. It is absolutely impossible to sleep at night due to the proximity to the Casanova cafe, the music from which yells until the morning (believe me, it yells VERY loudly), planes flying directly above you also interfere (every hour, or even more often), the rumble of which is heard around the clock. Before that, we rested in the "Beloved Coast", which is located in Dzhemet, but a little further towards Anapa, so there were no planes heard at all. The canteen was located right in front of our windows, because the TV was always on at full volume, the windows and the balcony had to be kept closed, the air conditioner was old, not very dead, but it also hummed quite loudly. It is also a minus that the air conditioner is located only in one room, and there is not even a fan in the bedroom, and if you close the windows (and it’s simply unrealistic to open them at night, you won’t fall asleep), then there is a terrible stuffiness in the room. The biggest drawback of this place is its director and staff. When paying, the administrator hangs any noodles on his ears and about his own beach (about him a little later, or rather about his complete absence) and about cooking on pre-order in the dining room and a bunch of other things. The director is just awful! We paid for all our accommodation, but after a week we realized that we simply couldn’t rest in such conditions, we wanted to move to another place in the neighborhood, but this person categorically refused to return the money, after this incident there was no talk of any friendly relations from the staff went. The administrator, the head maid were just frankly rude and stopped even saying hello, but oh well, who needs their etiquette. The dining room has a very meager assortment of dishes, portions are constantly not enough, if you come for breakfast by 9 am, then you may not get any food at all. The territory of the sanatorium is not well-groomed, there are a lot of unfinished buildings (a pool, cottages), an old unfenced pond, it’s just scary to let children alone into such a territory. There is no playground. But the main thing is that these comrades frankly lie to people when checking in about having their own beach, which is not in sight. I don’t know how it was there in previous years, but since 2016 they don’t have ANY beach. You will only know about this when you pay and move in. . We booked this sharashkin office only because of the proximity to the sea and the presence of our own beach. We and all vacationers were simply deceived. Clients of this sanatorium are invited to relax on small pieces (passages) between the beaches of neighboring hotels, if you move at least a little towards the sea, you will get scandal and hassle instead of a relaxing holiday. The people on the beaches are just dark, if you don’t come by 7-8 in the morning, then there’s simply nowhere to stick a sun lounger (and this is in June, it’s even hard to imagine what will happen there in August). The director and staff of the Fort are deceivers and swindlers. Look for another place to stay if you don't want to spoil it for yourself. In Anapa and Dzhemet, there are a lot of places that are much more worthy and at a much cheaper price, and where the staff is ready to respect the rights of the consumer.
