The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, they will talk, answer all questions, advise where to go and what to see. We ate the same at the hotel, the prices are not expensive, the portions are large, the quality is good, in general they cook like at home, the soup is so thick and rich soup, the rest is in the same spirit. For comparison, we ate in cafes - prices there are not small, restaurant portions are not large, in general, you leave half-starved, of course it is useful, but you want to eat on a fresh vacation. There is also a refrigerator and a kettle on the floor, any dishes will be given, from glasses to plates and dishes. The hotel is a 5-minute walk downhill from the road and the shore, and this ensures peace and quiet, you can not see or hear cars. We liked everything in the hotel, now we will be frequent guests!

They were going to live in Arabesque, but changed their minds and settled in "At the Lake" on the advice of a friend. When we arrived at the place, it turned out that the description of the location of the hotel did not correspond to reality at all. The vague "near the main attractions" means that the hotel is 300-500 meters from the lake, on the mountain.

The vague "near the main attractions" means that the hotel is 300-500 meters from the lake, on the mountain. Near the sights are the source of the Angara, the Limnological Museum. The ski slope with the ski lift is somewhere else a 15-20 brisk walk uphill. The port is also close by. That is, a hotel at the very beginning of Listvyanka when driving from Irkutsk. The center of the village (market, nerpenaria, beach, restaurants, grocery stores) is about three kilometers away. If you approach the lake from the hotel along the shortest path past the Limnological Museum, you will find yourself at the very source of the Angara. It is impossible to go out on the ice in winter or go down to the water in this place in summer. To get to the water (or ice) you have to walk a fairly decent distance towards the center of the village.
In general, the Arabesque stands in a beautiful place, but it is far from the "main attractions", and most importantly from the places of everyday demand (shops, banks and post offices).
Transport (however, like everything else in Listvyanka) is an expensive pleasure. Minibus in the village - 20 rubles (for comparison, in Irkutsk - 12 rubles). Taxi - sky-high for such distances - 150 rubles.
