Everything is done simply and tastefully! A lot of young people from different countries stop there, so after a working day it’s nice to spend the evening there with a cup of tea or coffee (which is provided by the administration for free). Once every three days, the maid changes the bed linen, the room and the entire hostel are cleaned daily. From time to time there are events, movie screenings! In a word, there is no time to be bored. Also, they always inform about excursions and theatrical events in St. Petersburg. The hostel is located right next to the metro, in the city center. Everything is nearby: sights, cafes, clubs, bars, and everything everything))) Prices are very affordable! So if you are planning to go to St. Petersburg and stay here, you will definitely not regret it! I personally was very pleased))))

Looking through online booking sites, we soon realized that the best option would be to stay in some mini-hotel in the city center.
We compiled a list of mini-hotels that met these requirements and began to call them and visit their websites. Most of all, we were interested in the discount system and special offers of the Akme mini-hotel. Bookings more than 2 months in advance receive a 15 percent discount. It was just right for us!
For those who are interested, I will immediately say that in St. Petersburg there are two Akme mini-hotels, positioning themselves as three-star hotels, and one Akme apart-hotel. We were not interested in the apartments, so we chose a mini-hotel on Malaya Morskaya 7. The main and most important "trick" - the advantage of the hotel - its location in the historical center of the city, in the "Golden Triangle" in a couple of minutes walk from the main street Nevsky avenue and 15 minutes from the Moscow railway station.
We easily reached the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, St. Isaac's Cathedral, and reached the Summer Garden. My friend, who loves to read, visited the House of the Book, next to the Gostiny Dvor metro station.
Overall ten points out of ten for the location!
The mini-hotel has three types of rooms: standard, economy and comfort. Standards and economy have all been booked. Still high season! ! But we did not regret for a second that we had booked a more expensive comfort. Its cost is 6000 rubles. for two per night (high season)
Spacious room, decorated in pleasant green tones, with air conditioning, TV, telephone with city access, kettle, and hair dryer, and included in the price a light breakfast and daily thorough cleaning - all this was certainly worth the money. The 24-hour reception and extremely polite, sensitive and always ready to help administrators fully compensated for such “deprivations” as a mini-bar, free bathrobes and slippers. But there's nothing you can do about it, since most mini-hotels are still equated with three-star ones. But when we needed an iron, it was provided to us at all times along with an ironing board. And special thanks to the lovely receptionist Lena, who gave us her umbrella when we were late for a meeting, and there was a real downpour outside the window.
By the way, for those who do not tolerate tobacco smoke (like me), this place will seem ideal - smoking is prohibited in all Akme hotels!
It was very sad to leave! We spent four nights at the hotel and got used to our room and staff very much.

We lived in a family deluxe room - these are 2 standard rooms with a combined bathroom - a wonderful option for a family trip! In the mornings, delicious breakfasts were brought to our room, and after refreshing ourselves, we went on an excursion to the city! By the way, excursions can also be ordered directly from the hotel, but we decided to walk around and see for ourselves, especially since, thanks to the good location of the hotel, we could always return there and take a break!
