Upon arrival at the room, they require an advance payment for the entire stay (very typical for Russian hotels in general - unlike hotels in normal countries) - they, however, call it either "authorization", or "reservation", but the essence this does not change the situation: the entire amount is immediately debited from the bank card. At the same time, they do not want to provide documents on payment - only, they say, when you leave (which in itself is a violation - supporting documents should be issued immediately after the payment is made). After a 15-minute tedious conversation, the employee (Anna Koroleva) nevertheless kindly agreed to provide the documents. Went up to the room: the room is not "first freshness", shabby. Dirty carpet, some stained. The wallpaper is starting to flake off here and there. The TV remote doesn't work. I opened the booklet "Room Service" - I decided to order a mug of beer. The booklet says that payment is accepted both in cash rubles and credit cards, but this turned out to be a surprise for the employee who brought me a mug of beer. The girl (apparently very good), at first suggested that I go downstairs to the restaurant and pay with a credit card there. But, after I showed her a booklet in which it was written in black and white that a guest can pay with a credit card right there in the room, she was terribly confused (says: ". . . let me pay for this beer myself - I have a tip today They gave me 150 rubles, I still have some money left for a trolleybus! "). We agreed that she would "record" this account on my number and I would pay when I leave.
In general, the hotel is very mediocre - the level of service (but, alas, not the price level) is much lower than, for example, in European hotels of the same Park Inn chain. In St. Petersburg, for the same money, you can rent a decent hotel room. So, ladies and gentlemen, as they say, I do not advise...
