We rested with relatives, 2 families (only 4 adults and 2 children 5 and 8 years old) in the period June 12-15.

We decided to spend the "June holidays" by the sea, and since relatives do not have passports, we rested in Russia and chose Yeysk because of the distance, there is no sea closer to us, and there are few days off.

We didn’t book anything, got into the cars and drove off.

For the first time we went without a prior arrangement for accommodation, hoping to find our bearings on the spot. At the entrance to the city, they turned to intermediaries to find housing options. What they later regretted very much - what they showed us (the "show" service was paid) did not correspond to our

criteria "price-quality". In general, after several "views" we went to look for housing ourselves, and settled in more or less suitable rooms for us, in a guest house on Schmidt Street, opposite the Aqua Park, 5 minutes from the sea.

Terribly tired of the road (driving 1500 km in traffic jams, almost a day), throwing things in the rooms, rushed to dinner at the nearest dining room, called "Tasty food". Then they always went there to eat. In general, a very good dining room, clean, reasonable prices, everything is edible, but there are long queues during peak hours.

It was possible to use the washing machine, though I don’t know for free or for an additional fee...

You can find housing immediately on the spot and no intermediaries are needed.

Even if you are very tired from the road, do not rush to move into the first "shed" that comes across, there is housing, prices and conditions for every taste, just carefully examining and evaluating everything, take a walk around the city.

Near our habitat was the Children's Beach "Melyaki", so we rested on it. The beach itself looks like an ordinary village beach near the river, not very comfortable and dirty. In general, the "beach" is not at all delighted. It seems that they are “removed”, but there are simply not enough wastebaskets, and those that are, well, very miniature, they fill up in just an hour, and after a while a mountain of garbage grows around them, and this garbage is carried by the wind all over the beach.

For some reason, such a crowded and visited beach is not equipped with enough toilet cabins?!

Not a convenient descent to the beach, although mostly people with small children and pensioners come to the city.

It is very difficult to go down and up steep stairs or paths, especially with strollers.

The sea is very shallow, although warm, the depth is at a distance of about 500m "to the waist", do not swim, do not dive, so, lie on your belly))). But for those who do not know how to swim, they are very afraid of the depth, and for very young children, a suitable option is possible.

The water is cloudy, green-brown in color. The child was somewhat surprised by such a sea, and he had no particular desire to swim, and all his interest was directed to all kinds of trampolines and various attractions, of which there were many in the area.

In the evening, the sea looks more beautiful than during the day.

Nearby is the promenade, along which you can stroll in the evening. The embankment is landscaped, it is beautiful in the evening, in some places it is still being renovated.

Near the embankment there is a small square with various stalls, cafes and many children's attractions (cost 100 rubles for 1-3 minutes). Our children for 3 days of rest on them "played enough".

Also nearby is a bird park, a dolphinarium, an oceanarium, a crocodile farm. We ourselves were not there, but we did not hear positive and enthusiastic reviews from the rest neighbors.

We expected that the order of prices for everything would be somewhat different, but apparently everyone wants to earn more during the season... In my opinion, for the same money you can relax in other places, and with better service.

I think that with a long rest, it will be difficult to entertain or entertain children, especially in bad weather, and late in the evening. There are no "children's rooms" where you can leave the child under supervision for a few hours.

Another difficulty is queues to ATMs, and people said that often there is simply no cash at all, especially in the morning and at the end of the day.

If you have a vacation for only two weeks a year, and you are very, very looking forward to it, then I think that Yeysk is not quite suitable for you.

Perhaps for people with very young children and for pensioners who come for treatment, the rest here will be good, but also not cheap.

Perhaps this is our first and last trip to the Sea of Azov.
