We got to the hotel in August by accident, we planned to spend the weekend somewhere in nature, friends at that time were resting in the Avantel hotel on Istra, they invited me to join. Nature is great. The territory of the hotel, most likely, was once a forest, which even now smoothly passes into the shore in front of Istra. We booked a room, and took a subscription to use the territory of the hotel. The beach at the hotel is not big, sand, sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach, clean. Descent into the water on concrete steps, in my opinion, not very convenient for children and for those who can not swim (there were a lot of kids on the territory of the hotel, our friends also rested with their children). There is a bar-restaurant on the beach "Grillage", where they make a very tasty grill, a choice of various salads and snacks, but also of course a variety of drinks. The hotel has friendly and helpful staff. On the territory of the hotel there is a rental of boats, boats, bicycles, rollers, so lovers of outdoor activities will have something to do. The hotel has a Panda Park, but in the summer of 2017 it did not work, as the staff explained to us, for some technical reasons. Very good, long enough cycle track.
The food is delicious, everything is fresh. When buying a subscription to use the territory, the price does not include meals, breakfast, lunch or dinner can be purchased separately at your discretion. All meals are buffet style.
The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, which is located in a separate building together with the SPA center. We didn’t get into the pool ourselves, there was no need, but friends said that the pool is very good, quite a decent size, there are slides for children and adults.

From what we experienced at the Avantel hotel, we liked everything: the territory, food, the opportunity to spend your leisure time in a variety of ways.
