Saratov is an ordinary provincial city in Russia, life is unhurried, people are friendly. The Volga embankment is not the most beautiful, it could be ennobled. Arriving in this city, there are several places worth visiting - Victory Park, City Park, Lipki Park, circus, city museum of local lore, opera and ballet theater. If you arrive in this city in the summer, then you are much more fortunate - you can visit the local beaches. The beaches are not bad, ordinary, urban. I personally liked the beach more in Engels (a city on the opposite bank of the Volga), you can get to it by bus. This beach seemed to me more well-groomed and the water there is nicer and cleaner.
I don't even want to write about the hotel - the usual "scoop", but everything is clean. The only pleasant thing is that it is located right on the embankment and it is possible to get a room with a view of the Volga and one of the attractions - the bridge across the Volga.
