Hotel ratings by criteria:
We have been choosing a hotel for a vacation with a one-year-old child on the Black Sea for a very long time. The main selection criteria were: comfort, food, baby cot, proximity to the sea, Wi-Fi and car parking. The presence of all this was colorfully painted on the hotel website, as well as in the reviews of tourists posted on the same site. We contacted the hotel 2 months before the trip, and made an advance payment (the cost of 1 day) for a suite on the 2nd floor overlooking the park (the second new building! ). From the sea view, we refused after reading the reviews. Tourists wrote that it was impossible to open the windows because of the constant smoke and smells from the three chimneys of the canteens and the restaurant. We planned to stay there for 14 days. What happened in reality. We arrived at the hotel at 6 pm. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. They asked us to pay for the entire stay, and handed us an electronic key card to the room, which turned out to be actually on the third floor (! ), because the entire first floor is a cafe and a restaurant, well, and various technical rooms of the hotel. Parking for the car turned out to be paid at the other end of Lazarevsky, and this is a pretty decent distance even for me - a resident of the metropolis! They didn't give us any coupons or checks for parking, but they swore that everything would be fine with the car (it should be noted that they kept their word). As for the suite itself. Spacious two-room suite with good furniture, old but clean carpeting, a primitive bathroom (toilet, sink and a small shower separated by a tiled partition), panoramic windows, two TVs with one remote control, two air conditioners with one remote control (one at the entrance to the room - in corridor, the second - in the bedroom), an empty refrigerator - a mini-bar, two bathrobes, a set of towels and a modest set of soap, shampoo and gel. And now, attention! Ten meters from our panoramic windows there was a "Ferris Wheel" and several other attractions of the local amusement park. I explain: from 10.00 am to 12.00 p. m. daily NON-STOPPING monotonous music! And even if you rest without a small child, this vacation will turn into a nightmare! And when it started to rain, stormy mountain rivers flowed from our panoramic windows right into the room, flooding the floor carpet and washing away all the towels that the maid brought us running. We stayed in this hotel for only 8 days. Our child began to show some kind of allergy, and we decided to return home (by the way, the remaining money was never returned to us). During this time, the room was vacuumed 1 time, bed linen was changed 1 time and towels were changed 1 time. Despite our repeated requests. We were given a crib only on the 5th day of our stay at the hotel, and they brought it only to the hallway with the words "and then it does not go! ". My husband took it apart, brought it into the bedroom, and assembled it there (I really don’t know how they carried it out then? ). Another terrible disappointment is Wi-Fi! He is only at the reception, and only at 5 o'clock in the morning, and then one or two users appear, and that's it! - the internet is down! The food at the hotel is really excellent, as promised in the advertisement on the website. But there are no coupons and discounts for hotel guests! And any vacationer in Lazarevsky can eat in these restaurants and canteens, which sometimes creates huge queues. Advertised on the hotel website, its own heated pool, in fact, turned out to be clean and all the time we lived there - ice cold! The hotel staff is polite, helpful and elusive. The beach is pebbly, relatively clean, with paid sunbeds, which are almost on top of each other and are always busy, because the beach is urban, and, apparently, central. Despite all the disadvantages of our stay in this hotel, which daily aggravate and overshadow the overall picture of the holiday, we tried to entertain ourselves and the child as best we could. . But even our optimism and mood for a good vacation was not enough to somehow relax! Having returned from such a "vacation", we came to the conclusion that we no longer want to relax in "luxury" hotels on the coast of the Russian Black Sea! This is what happens sometimes - once and for all!
