We returned with our daughter from Svetlogorsk the day before yesterday. It was scary to check into the hotel "Lazur" after some reviews. But the first impression turned out to be quite favorable: no horror films in the form of rotten linoleum and dead furniture. Quite a nice cozy small room, a spacious balcony, beautiful linens, brand new furniture. (My daughter really enjoyed sleeping in a comfortable bed. ) Cons showed up a little later. In the bathroom, the role of the shower is performed by the shower itself and a hole in the floor, located right next to the door. Those. no curtains, no barrier - no water protection! Thus, before you take a shower, you take out everything from the bathroom-toilet - towels and everything that can get wet. Then bring it back))) Naturally, the floor after water procedures))) does not dry out, creating endless dampness both in the bathroom and in the room. The maid once a day brought an old towel on the floor to somehow drain the effects of the flood). Plus, the weather is typical for the Baltic - for 6 days of stay there was not a day without rain. In general, the feeling of dampness and moisture is the main impression of staying at the Lazuri. There was really hot water only once, the rest of the time it was a little warm. Moreover, this is not related to the situation in the city - there was hot water in hairdressing salons, and in restaurants, and in other hotels (according to conversations with tourists). In general, water and showering is a real discomfort and the main fat minus of staying in this hotel.
The staff is welcoming and friendly. And when a taxi did not come for us, which was supposed to take us to the airport, the administrator agreed with the driver of the hotel car, and he took us. In general, the people who work there are friendly.
Breakfast is acceptable, quite decent. For girls, just right. I advise men to take extra rations with them))).

The "Azure" is located at some distance from civilization, but the city of Svetlogorsk is small, and you can reach any desired point on foot. For example, you can walk to the organ hall, cinema, main descent to the sea, good cafes in 20-30 minutes. (By the way, near the hotel there is an excellent and inexpensive restaurant "Raushen", a 5-minute walk). And "Lazur" is closer than other hotels to the stop from which all the sightseeing buses depart - it's really convenient.
I would like to note that the city itself is beautiful, the excursions are interesting and in general, I really want to return to Svetlogorsk. But not to this hotel. Still, I do not advise you to go to "Lazur". If only in order to save money or, for example, 1-2 nights perekantovatsya.
All pleasant rest and unforgettable impressions))).
