Oh, this Tula! No, I have no complaints about Tula - a glorious wonderful city. It’s just that our biorhythms didn’t match up with her. No matter how we gather there, we will not find a suitable option for an overnight stay: either very expensive, or apartments that we do not favor. The fact is that the city is very popular with the tourist fraternity, and you need to book hotels at least a little, but in advance. Those who have already come across my reports are already in the know, and those who have not yet will also know that this is not about us in advance, that we are such “strange”, to put it mildly, comrades, thoughts of making a trip on the weekend with us occur, as a rule, on Saturday morning, at best on Friday. And it is necessary with an overnight stay. And with Tula, such a feint did not work out.
One bright Saturday morning, my husband wakes me up with an exclamation, they say, there is, there is a cute option for an overnight stay in Tula. But while back and forth, estimates and discussions, the option has floated out from under the nose. Nervous laughter, turning into anger in a good way. We must change something! : ))

An overnight stay in a city for us is not just a head on a pillow, it is part of the trip, because the overall perception of the visited city largely depends on the impressions of the hotel. Well, we have. Therefore, we want everything at once, as they say: decent, newer, centered, breakfasts are welcome, and this whole set is also inexpensive. It happens, but rarely. But it happens : ) . This time, the item "centered" did not pass. But for all the rest - offset.
We stayed at the Tulitsa Hotel 3*. It is located relatively close to the bus station and one of the central highways of the city - Lenin Avenue. The Tula Kremlin is about 5 km away. Well, distance, of course. If by car, there are no questions. We are on it, but we do not like to use it for educational walks. In general, in the morning, leaving the car in the hotel parking lot, we walked on foot, looking around, and in the evening back by taxi. Well, something, but a taxi in our time does not belong to the category of luxury : ).
The hotel is new, opened in 2018. According to the administrators, the second building has just been released after the latest renovation, on Yandex maps it is still designated as the Talisman Hotel, apparently, it was such.
Large parking lot. These days it was packed to capacity.
We got the room on the last 6th floor, so it even has some specific characteristics. Rooms with windows in the opposite direction look at the high-rise building. Clean, tidy, carpet not killed.
The necessary set of ingredients for comfort is available: air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, hairdryer and even a safe. By the way, when booking a room, you need to specify about air conditioning, not all rooms have it. My favorite topic about slippers: no. They forgot to put it in or they are not included in the completeness of the room - I didn’t find out, I had it with me : ). And, I repeat, the floor was very clean.
The bathroom is normal, there are shampoos in bags, I don’t know the quality, I don’t use it. With all the novelty and cleanliness, the shower cabin actively “blooms” with mold at the joints. This is, of course, an oversight. Very, very out of the good picture.
Breakfast is served in the cafe on the ground floor. Nice modern room design. The breakfast set is simple, without frills, but quite sufficient: scrambled eggs and sausages, porridge, pilaf was, by the way, my husband checked it out, the cottage cheese casserole was not a success. Well, this is to our taste, which, as you know, may not coincide with the majority. Some dishes may be cold, of course, the food warmers are not heated, but there is a microwave, if that. We didn't spot it right away. Machine coffee for extra money, and so - instant. For my part, perhaps, a remark in the direction of the fruit and vegetable set - there was only cabbage salad, that's all. Well, for a hotel with stars, it's somehow out of status. You don’t need much, chop a cucumber with a tomato, spread lettuce leaves for greater importance, put apples of different colors - and (life) the table will sparkle with other colors, and if you throw an orange - a masterpiece : ). Well, this is me, to speculate...
I would still pick on the administrative part, but this is probably really grumbling. For some reason, they do not have the practice, according to the administrator, to send any confirmation by e-mail or phone. A trifle, of course, but I personally had a story when, after a telephone reservation, it turned out that I "was not standing here. " Well, administrators should also reconsider their priorities towards guests, and not colleagues in the shop, i. e. when a guest appears at the reception, finish discussions with a friend and finally ask what led the person to them : )).
All in all, a pretty nice hotel. Fresh, and it is clear that trying to provide a decent service. And if there is no special fetish to live near the walls of the Kremlin, then "Tulitsa" is a very comfortable option from the category of "inexpensive".
