We decided to cultivate ourselves a little for the November holidays, to go to the museum-estate of Leo Tolstoy in Yasnaya Polyana. But as usual, it was too late to plan a trip, there were no more places in decent hotels in Tula and Yasnaya Polyana. Somehow managed to find this small hotel. There are only 25 rooms, but they are two-room with a seating area and balconies. The hotel is clean, the furniture and plumbing are relatively new, only the bath suffered from worn enamel and plastic curtains that did not close tightly. There is also something new and beautiful in the hotel lobbies, and something ancient, for example, an elevator, you can still look for such outdated models in the vastness of our Motherland. In addition to the main building, there is also the so-called VIP building. The difference is only in the size of the rooms and more recent renovation. Unfortunately, this house has already been completely bought out. I don't know if the person of Count Tolstoy is popular on weekdays, but on weekends and holidays in Yasnaya Polyana there is simply no crowding among his admirers.
It would be nice for the hotel to hang signs from the highway, in the evening in the dark it was hard to find it among the forest. Breakfasts at the hotel are modest, we just ran out of porridge, we had to be content with pancakes with meat. But on the other hand, the dinner was pleasantly surprised, I expected less, after all, we are in the village. In general, you can stay for one night. There are shortcomings, but it is clear that they are being worked on: another building is being built, the access road is being repaired, maybe the parking lot will be expanded. Also, the staff are friendly and always ready to help.
