Bird Island Lodge is located on Bird Island, 100 km north of the capital island of Mahe. Apart from the lodge, there are no settlements or buildings on the island. The concept of the island - "back to nature" implies a break from formality and pretentiousness and direct contact with nature. Built from natural materials, the chalets do not have air conditioning or TVs. Tours around the island are organized for guests, during which the guide will introduce you to the peculiarities of the flora and fauna of the island, show the habitats of turtles and huge bird colonies. Bird Island Lodge расположен на острове Берд, в 100 км севернее столичного острова Маэ. Кроме лоджа на острове нет никаких поселений или построек. Концепция острова – «назад к природе» подразумевает отдых от формальности и претенциозности и непосредственное общение с природой. В построенных из природных материалов шале отсутствуют кондиционеры и телевизоры. Для гостей проводятся экскурсии по острову, во время которых гид познакомит с особенностями растительного и животного мира острова, покажет места обитания черепах и огромные птичьи базары.
