We went to the Savoy Resort 5 * hotel for the New Year holidays. In general, the hotel made a good impression. On the plus side, the hotel is new, modern and beautiful. Well thought out to meet the needs of guests of different interests and family composition. Spacious rooms with a large balcony, sofa and armchairs to relax. Here we spent most of the time when we were in the room - a sofa, armchairs, a table, fresh air and a view of the tropical surroundings and the ocean. . In the arrangement of the room (we lived in Savoy King overlooking the ocean), everything that should be in hotels of this class and serve the comfort of its guests is taken into account - a large comfortable bed, pure white linen, in the bathroom - an abundance of cosmetics, the latest technology, drinking water was brought twice a day, a tea / coffee set, which we regularly drank on our balcony in the mornings and evenings, was replenished somehow imperceptibly for us - always a complete set.
Wi-Fi and wired internet in the rooms. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel - in the building, on the beach, and in restaurants.
Nature generously endowed the Seychelles with beauty - and the hotel supports this gift. A very beautiful, thoughtfully planned territory of the hotel is immersed in greenery and flowers.

The staff is quite friendly, there is a Russian-speaking employee at the reception - for us it was important, because we do not speak foreign languages.
A pretty decent fish restaurant, for a daytime snack and a selection of drinks there is a beach bar - open until late at night and immediately after dinner there is an entertainment program with live music and songs.
There are many restaurants around the hotel where we went for lunch. Very convenient, close, inexpensive, unpretentious, but quite tasty
What did not like. The staff is happy to see you, but works smoothly, without overstressing. If you don't demand, you will be served forever. But there is a way to "make friends" with the servants and treat them like an old acquaintance, and then you will always receive your orders in priority, and if you reinforce friendship with a small amount of tip rupees for your efforts, then you will be accompanied throughout the territory, move sunbeds, bring drinks and guess your every desire, come up to find out how you are doing, and often ask if you need anything. If you can endure this on the beach, then in a restaurant it is very annoying. But then again - this is at the beginning, until you get to know all the waiters. The second minus is that in this country, where there is an abundance of seafood, and the local population sees meat on holidays, they simply do not know how to cook this very meat. So spoil a steak that it turns from a delicious dish into inedible rubber - you have to work hard.
Shortcomings in hotel maintenance were compensated by a chic beach and an even more beautiful magnificent and powerful ocean and raging nature, so that all the sadness faded away and was immediately forgotten as soon as you look away at this beauty
I will note one more plus - this is the service of the host local company - I have rarely seen such clarity, service, courtesy and care. In this regard, we are very fortunate. Any information, any wish - everything was provided and executed instantly. . For this special thanks to them.

For those who have not been to the Seychelles - I recommend to go. Not cheap, but nature, the beach, the ocean and a good hotel are the perfect ingredients for a good tropical getaway experience. Nostalgia for the Seychelles has remained with us. Maybe not so soon, would eat here again, but probably would have chosen another hotel.
