We rested with our family in October 2010. The hotel has not been pulling for a long time, not only for 5 stars, but also for 4. The rooms are terribly dirty, old, requiring thorough repairs. The carpet is a horribly dirty gray: my kids white socks turned gray after 5 minutes of walking around the room. Cleaning is terrible: they constantly found long black hair in towels, on the floor in the bathroom. Toilet bowls DO NOT clean - 100%. The linen is old, sometimes full of holes. Washed towels, greyish. The floor of the shower in the legendary marble bathroom had an open hole instead of a drain hole. It was disgusting to sit on upholstered furniture - it was so worn out. And, by the way, it is strange: in double rooms there is ONE chair each. But regularly bring shampoo-conditioners. As for the air conditioning system, it blows at one point with the force of a tornado (this was the case in both our rooms: we took a connective room). Breakfasts. On the first day, it seemed to us quite diverse, by the end of the week we visited them every other time, and on the second week we simply stopped having breakfast at the hotel: tasteless, the same thing EVERY DAY. Well, at least something new! The staff is dressed poorly in national Asian outfits, the feeling of which is that they are rented in a junk shop. In general, I can’t complain about the staff: they are always friendly and nice to us and our children. As for the laundry service, they spoiled ALL the things that we had the imprudence to hand over there (it’s humid in Singapore, and if you wash it yourself, nothing will dry in the room in two days): they washed our children’s T-shirts, ruined the applications, and my husband’s things were also ruined iron. In general, one minus and disappointment. It's a pity.
