Location.
This is the main plus of the Ski 2 * hotel. Up to 6 chair lifts from the door of the hotel you only need to climb the stairs. The stairs are really quite high, ski boots are not very comfortable. Therefore, we did not go back up the stairs, but skied down almost under the hotel. Cash desk and rental are also nearby. One of the two slopes where evening skiing is held in Jasna is also nearby.
To the ski bus stop from the number 2 minutes to go, no more. By bus you can get to other points of the resort, to Liptovsky Mikulas, to Tatralandia, to Demanovska Cave. A mini market is about half a kilometer from the hotel. You can take a bus, or you can walk.
Number.

But this is perhaps the main disadvantage of the hotel. The first impression of the room - shock. Then you get used to it, but it's still not pleasant enough. The interior is a complete scoop. All the furniture is very old, probably my age. Repair can be seen that has not been done that way for 10 years. Or never at all. The shower is in the form of a watering can sticking out of the wall, and the drain is a hole in the floor. Beds and beds at all, but something like a Soviet sofa. You lift the sheet, and there is not a bed mattress, but something made of sofa fabric. The TV is small. But this is not important, because. shows only Polish and Slovak channels. But the worst thing is that they do not try to do better, to give this squalor some kind of comfort. No bedspreads. There was not even a shower curtain. Truth in 2 days hung up.
There is no hair dryer in the room.
Towels and sheets were not changed in a week. But it's still 2 *.
On the minus ground floor there is a room where you can leave your skis and boots. But dragging them back and forth up the stairs is not always convenient.
Of course, the main thing - heating, hot water, shower, toilet functions. It is quite possible to live. But only if you are okay with spartan interiors.
Nutrition.
Pretty normal breakfast. The standard buffet set, as in many other hotels: muesli, tea-coffee, focks, milk, fried or boiled sausages, bacon, eggs, scrambled eggs, fruits, yogurts, sliced ham-cheese and vegetables. And definitely some strange salad from one component. For example, from cheese and seasonings. Or from herring and spices. More buns, butter, honey, jam, pâ té s. In short, the choice is present and more or less tasty.
Delicious yoghurts and pastries. But with the latter, it was usually not enough and was quickly sorted out. The rest was enough and all the time brought - updated.
The only but - once filed expired yoghurts. It seems like it happened by accident. When we showed them, they grabbed their heads and carried them away.
We sometimes dined on the mountain, but sometimes we took pizza or the menu of the day from the hotel restaurant. Pizza average 6.90. The menu is the same. But for me the "menu" from the first and second was too much. Drink prices are average.
Dinner is buffet only. We did not want to pay 12 euros per person. We went to dinner at "Druzhba" (I liked it, but a little expensive), "Pension Energetik" (I didn't like it and a little expensive) and Liptovsky Mikulas (we found a good and inexpensive cafe in the national style there).
Staff

Basically, they have no complaints. The girls at the reception are friendly, they were always ready to help, tell how to get where and how to get there. Speaking Ukrainian, we understood each other about half. As a last resort, they switched to English. There was even one waiter in the restaurant who knew Russian. Cleaning in the room - took out the trash + vacuumed sometimes.
True, they did not warn that at the end it would be necessary to pay a tax to the local treasury: 1 euro for each person-day. But maybe they didn't have to, I don't know.
Entertainment:
It seems like every evening some events were held in the lounge area: either a disco, or a movie evening, or a Slovak evening. But we didn't go, I can't say anything. In general, the hotel stands apart. Nearby is another small hotel. To the point of the hotel where Friendship, Grand, nightclub and other entertainment - like about 2 km. Liptovsky Mikulas is about 15 km away. The town is sleepy and quiet, at 8 pm there is no one on the streets, only random tourists. However, cafe-discotheques and a supermarket work.
Also in the lounge area there is a good children's corner, TVs, billiards, comfortable sofas.
Discounts
The hotel provides a 10% discount in the restaurant for guests. You can also get the Liptov Card for 3 euros. With it we got a 30% discount on ski passes (6 days), 15% in Tatralandia, free ski bus fare, 10% discount in a supermarket in Mikulas and 10% in Energetika restaurant. I wrote what we used. Actually, there are more of them.
Outcome
In general, the hotel is not as rundown as the room. The lounge area is generally decorated very tastefully. The food and staff are ok, the location is excellent. For those who are not capricious about living conditions - suitable. But if peeling walls spoil your mood, then you are not here : )
