There were rumors that the Slovak embassy was issuing long-term Schengen visas. So we decided to check it out. Since hours are always short, we decided to do everything through a travel agency.
We searched for a long time ...thought ...and came across a small hotel, which gives confirmation to the embassy. But most importantly - 35 km from the Ukrainian border (Uzhgorod).
As the passport is full of Schengen visas, we received 2-year visas from Slovakia and went to mark them.
Customs passed without problems, but stood in line for 2 hours. Therefore, I advise you to go not on Saturday, but perhaps on a working day. The cars at the customs were inspected very respectfully.
It is not long to drive from the border to the hotel, but follow the recommended speed limit. On the way to the hotel, in the village of Sobranche there is a supermarket Lidl, if you wish you can buy there.
The hotel is located on the shores of a large lake - Zamplinska Shirava (Zempl? Nska? ? Rava).
The Penzion Family Hotel itself is not large, but it feels in need of renovation. We took a family room, so it was spacious. Equipment with refrigerator, kettle, minimal utensils. The yard has a small pool. Breakfast was not included in the price, but we had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel. The choice on the menu is not great, but everything you have is actually prepared by you, so everything is fresh and delicious. Prices are nice - the average price for 4 people was: breakfast - 10 euros, lunch or dinner - 32 euros.
There is also a new thermal water park with a variety of pools and massages nearby. The price for the whole day for an adult is 17 euros, for a child - 8 euros.
