Leaving the bus in Chumpon, at 5-30 we had to wait until dawn came, and other tourists would be brought to board the catamaran. At 7-00 we boarded the catamaran and went to the island of Koh Tao. Catamaran with a capacity of 500 people, consists of 3 decks, the first with air conditioning, bar and TV, the second is VIP for 50 baht, and the third is outdoors where you can sunbathe. We have chosen the third deck, i. e. to. on the first we froze during the first 10 minutes. Before Koh Tao there was a stop at the island of Nang Yuan. From our seats, we observed all the beauty of this amazing island, or rather 3 islands interconnected by a snow-white sandy spit. The beauty was simply indescribable, the water was transparent turquoise in which, like in an aquarium, there were many colorful fish. Disembarking passengers and unloading food Since there is one hotel on the island, we recovered to the port of Koh Tao. Getting off the catamaran, we went out to the central street (she is there alone). After looking at the map, we decided to go to Mango Bay, to the Mango Bay Grand Resort. Judging by the map, we realized that the distance to the hotel is not very large, and we decided to walk. Since we are engaged in hiking, we wanted to see the beauty of this island from the inside. By 12:00 we arrived at our hotel. The hotel itself consists of 10 bungalows, and stands on a very steep slope. After going down to the reception and talking with a not very friendly owner (Italian), we received the keys to the bungalow. This bungalow cost 2350 baht per day, and was not very far from the water. This hotel is remote from civilization, so we only ate at the hotel restaurant. In the evening at dinner, we agreed with the owner that he would call us a boat for a trip to Nang Yuan tomorrow, it cost 1400 baht. Waking up in the morning and having breakfast (breakfast is free), a boat (taksi-boat) was already waiting for us. Taking masks with snorkels, we went to the first bounty island. This island is considered a national reserve, so we paid 100 baht for entry. Plastic bottles and cans are not allowed on it. Coming out on the central island, going to the left along the sandy spit, we got to a small island, which is surrounded by a hanging bridge in a circle, along which we walked. A very unusual shape of the rock, as if after an earthquake, and the most beautiful color of the water. But there is no access to water. So after the walk we went to the 3rd island, where the hotel itself is located. Before him, I had to ford along an underwater spit. Having moved to this island, we enjoyed swimming in the blue lagoon, and then went to explore the island. Along the abandoned path, we climbed to the observation deck, which offered an amazing view of all the islands. After taking pictures, we safely went down and went snorkeling. Having swum and dived enough, the day flew by unnoticed. An hour later, a boat was supposed to come for us, and we decided to have a bite to eat at the bar. But the boat didn't arrive even two hours later. the waves rose and we had to get on a large boat to the central port of Koh Tao, from which the boatman himself drove us to the hotel by car. The next day we took kayaks at the hotel and explored our bay. On the third day we took a boat for the whole day around the island. The Thai brought us to the most beautiful bays, and we snorkeled there. In one of the bays of Ao Leuk, we were even lucky to swim with reef sharks, there were about 15 of them. In general, the underwater world on Koh Tao is the most beautiful of what we saw in Thailand, but still it cannot be compared with the Red Sea in Egypt, it is much more beautiful there. In the evening, at the hotel, we bought tickets to Koh Samui, to a Lomprayah catamaran for 500 baht per person. Our catamaran departed the next day at 14-00, delivery to the port is free of charge from the hotel. Waking up in the morning and collecting things, the owner of the hotel at 12-00 took us to the central port of the island. It was not possible to swim in the bay for goodbye, because. a storm arose. After lunch in one of the restaurants, we went to board the catamaran. Upon presentation of the ticket, we were asked in which hotel we were going to stay, so when we arrived at the port of Koh Samui, we were met by a bus and brought to the hotel for free. We were on Koh Samui at 17-00.
