Dreams really do come true! I have long been interested in Thailand as a country where I want to visit, relax and generally get to know it in reality. And this desire arose not out of thin air, but largely thanks to this and similar sites, and, of course, the stories of friends and acquaintances. After Egypt, I read reviews of tourists for a whole year and looked at their photos from Tai. But I did not even suspect that this year I would write my own review.

I'll start by buying a ticket. My husband and I use the services of the Continent travel agency, which cooperates with many tour operators. Our tour was from Pan Ukraine tour operator. Special thanks to the tour manager Larisa, who always gives a real assessment of the hotel, all the necessary recommendations and discusses many important nuances regarding the tour, hotel, insurance, what is important to know when visiting a particular country, etc. For example, visa application forms for 15 days of stay in Thailand, in which photos are pasted at the airport, we were ready and we did not linger during registration, the same migration cards, cat. fill in the plane, we got already filled. There are no complaints about the meeting party either, they were met with smiles, they were comfortably taken to Pattaya. The guides are excellent both on excursions (special thanks to the guide Katya, Chris, Alexander) and at the hotel (guide Lana was always in touch and solved all issues with the hotel and not only without any problems).

Now briefly about the hotel itself. The location of the hotel on the very shore of the Gulf of Thailand of the South China Sea (yes, the sea is dirty there, but it's stupid not to know about it when choosing a resort). But away from the bustle of the city and from the roads. The Temple of Truth pleases the eye nearby, good photos are obtained. We lived in a building on the fifth floor, so I can’t say anything about the bungalow. The staff more or less speaks Russian (not all) in English, you can communicate freely. The hotel has a swimming pool. The rooms are no frills, but with all the amenities. Cleaning, change of linen and towels every day. I have never seen cockroaches or mice (as, for example, in Bangkok). Breakfasts, I think, are more than decent: rice and meat with vegetables in different variations, and soups, there are sausages, scrambled eggs or fried eggs, many varieties of crispy salad leaves (I love them), other fresh vegetables, three types of fruits and also fruit salad with yogurt, cereal, a good selection of juices, pastries (baked goods in all of Pattaya are not very good), tea and coffee are also so-so. For those who are going to Thailand for the first time, believe me, this is quite enough for a hotel in Pattaya. Moreover, food there is not a problem, starting with macaques, supermarkets and ending with cafes and restaurants. We were delighted with the Center Festival shopping center. The topic of nutrition in general can be devoted to a whole separate review. Therefore, if anyone has any questions, ask, I will answer.

Well, and of course, a little about Thailand directly. Thailand is a wonderful, interesting and, I will not be afraid of this word, AMAZING country. This is my personal subjective opinion, but I think many will agree with me. I recently read a review from a person who decided that “the amazing country of Thailand” is just a slogan for travel agencies who want to sell you a ticket. Well, isn't it surprising, for example, that the Thais live in 2053, and not like us in 2010, or that the whole life of this people is still tightly intertwined with the spirits to which they present food and water every day? And you should have seen what kind of service they have in banks, in supermarkets... but Thailand is a third world country! Yes, in the end, their sincere calmness and respect for each other is surprising in itself. And this is not the whole list of reasons why Thailand can be called an amazing country.

Of course, Pattaya cannot be called a clean city, and the sea near its shores is not at all like the Red Sea of Egypt. There are NO normal beaches for swimming in Pattaya itself !! ! But you can visit the largest number of excursions, which we did. Most of all, from what we could afford, we liked the excursion to the Kwai River. visit them at least once. But to the temple of the big Buddha, my husband and I, taking a map, went on our own. It was a very romantic day then. By the way, blue water and sand as white as flour are also found in Thailand. Just combine your tour and go to Koh Samui, Phuket, Krabi or Koh Chang.

Beach vacation. We were on an excursion to about. Samet, I liked it, but only one day, it is better to take it with an overnight stay and for 2 days. My husband and I went to the island of Koh Larn by public local transport in order to swim in the clear sea, lie down on sun loungers - in general, a day of relaxation. I didn’t like Larn, there is no white sand and clear sea there.

In general, I liked the rest in Pattaya, I didn’t want to leave, even the mood was gone, although we had 2 more days ahead of us in Bangkok. There we visited a tour of the Chao Phraya River (I don’t recommend it, I wasn’t impressed by anything, but it costs 50 USD per person), as well as the Royal Palace (I think it’s a must visit). In the evening before departure, we bought pineapples, mangoes and other fruits, packed our bags and at 5 am our plane took off.

For those who are going to visit Thailand for the first time, let me give you a couple of tips. Dear tourists, do not be lazy to read reviews and extract as much information as possible from the Internet, especially since there is plenty of it. Set priorities for yourself and thereby save yourself from unpleasant surprises and disappointments.

May your dreams come true too!

If you have more specific questions about prices or meals, etc. , please ask, I will try to answer.
