Paradise holidays in Thailand: Pattaya and Koh Kood
We got from Bangkok airport on a comfortable tour operator bus in 2 hours.
We checked into the Ambassador City Jomtien Marina Tower Wing 4 * hotel instantly, leaving $ 100 at the reception on bail.
And now - Dreams Come True: Sea, Sun, Beach - complete relaxation!
A huge private sandy beach, the sea is clean and very warm, although the air temperature was abnormally cold for
given time: + 26 gr. up to 31/03...and from 1/04 ZHARA - up to 40 gr. Having studied the territory of the hotel: very large and well-groomed,
tropical vegetation everywhere, small squares and fountains against the backdrop of 5 buildings of different stars and a huge number of pools,
high-speed elevators, its own market for inexpensive souvenirs and fruits, with an alley of various cafes and restaurants ...
Nutrition. Only breakfasts were included. Very, very satisfying and tasty, always a choice (or all together ... ):
4 types of eggs - scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, liquid omelette, boiled egg, fried egg, rice 2-3 options, meat, fish,
soup, sausages, ham, fruits: pineapple, watermelon, papaya, toasts with various jams, drinks: juice and milkshake,
coffee, tea ....For the entire service of the hotel I SET 4 + *! (our Marina Tower Wing is listed as 3*).
In the evening we visited a cafe and tried the famous soup: Tom Yam with shrimp - delicious!
The variety of fruits in the local market right on the hotel grounds has no end...we tried several types,
and watermelons, pineapples and papayas were always given to us in abundance for breakfast. The king of Thai fruits is the durian.
If you keep it for more than 30 minutes. cut - it smells terribly of hydrogen sulfide (or rotten eggs ... ).
We managed to eat earlier, and washed our hands, so we didn’t feel the smell - only the most delicate taste of melted vanilla ice cream with cream ...
The shore of the beach is well equipped, towels, sun loungers are all free - quite a lot, the temperature has risen to 40 degrees. ,
it hovered during the day, but the sea is very fresh and with a breeze ...They always sell fresh shrimp, very large and tasty.
Right on the beach they offer massages, although you can do it in the hotel salon. Just great in the evening
you can sit and swim by the illuminated pools or right by the sea on sun loungers or a lot of terraces at any hotel on site.
You listen to the sound of the surf, a gentle cool breeze from the sea is very handy after the heat of the day.
In the evenings, they stayed up late and even swam in the sea. The staff is very friendly, you can explain directly in Russian, along with gestures - they understand. There is a free safe at the reception.
With an early excursion and departure home, having handed over a voucher for breakfast early in the morning, you get a dry ration.
Every day the room is cleaned, linen is changed once a week, every day free of charge for 1 person - 1 bottle of clean water 0.6 liters in the room.
We had a standard room - very decent, TV, large bed, table, sofa, air conditioning, hairdryer, shower, 2 washbasins,
toilet (I was very surprised by the lack of a barrel, but everything works properly). Left regularly for 20 baht (only 20 rubles)
and upon arrival, our Russian chocolate - everyone was happy. Upon check out, the $100 deposit was immediately refunded without even checking the room.
It is worth relaxing in any of the hotels of the Ambassador cyti complex, unlike small hotels with a city, dirty beach and
crossing the road to him. Ambassador cyti, although far from the city center, but on two tuk-tuks for 20 and 10 baht per person
You can easily reach the center in 20 minutes. Directly across the road from the hotel - many restaurants, shops and an evening fruit market surprise with a variety of tastes and a cheap price! Rest more often! Enjoy life!
TezTour rewarded us with 2 free tours: Pattaya 3 in 1 sightseeing and Crocodile Farm,
Everything is very interesting and informative, which we were very happy about! !
We learned that the stress in the word Pattaya-ya falls on I, which was very unusual for hearing.
In general, Pattaya Ya offers any type of recreation: from extreme excursions and diving,
rest on numerous islands with the purest turquoise water and white sand,
unique shopping in Bangkok at super-low prices, numerous entertainment
on the famous Walking Street: go-go bars, transvestite shows, x-shows, etc.,
2 day educational tours to Cambodia to the temple city of Angkor Wat, to Laos and Vietnam,
exotic tour on the River Kwai and much more.
We chose city sights, some Buddhist temples, snake shows and
crocodiles on free excursions and a 2-day tour to Paradise Island Koh KUD,
the most remote on the border with Cambodia: there is extreme swimming with carps at waterfalls,
they bite off particles of rough skin, making it smooth and velvety (not all
really took a chance to swim ... ), upon exiting, we received our photos in a frame with views of waterfalls,
for a conditional fee of 100 baht...
, a temple with cheerful monkeys,
speedboat ride to the island,
and the wonderful island itself!
the sand is very white, fine and hard when you step on it
does not fall through and does not drown in it, the sea is pure and transparent, of all shades:
blue, turquoise, blue...
Settled in beautiful houses with everything you need,
Meals for 2 days are fully included
and very, very tasty and varied! the territory on this beach is completely redeemed
tour operators and the days of arrival are divided ...and the street tour. firms place on other beaches of the island
with less comfortable conditions - recognized!
We swam in the sea, sunbathed, you can swim in free kayaks - all the more there was a wave and
felt like surfing the waves.
In the evening we walked along the beach to the beginning of the river on the right along the bank, you can swim along it
to the nearest village 11 km on the same kayak...
To the left along the shore, fabulous pictures with slanted palm trees, as in the Bounty advertisement,
only much more beautiful, because you personally admire this beauty!
As it got dark, a bright fire show was shown on the shore.
Time imperceptibly slows down and you want to endlessly peer into the sea and listen to the sound of the surf!
The only thing that can bother you is raising your head up...so that the coconut does not fall on your head!
Huge 100 year old palm trees with countless coconuts. Noticed this this morning:
a monkey on a leash climbs to the top of a palm tree and, under the command of the owner, smartly picks coconuts...
Lots of lovely orchids everywhere.
The day flew by unnoticed, late in the evening we returned to Pattaya, stopping at the fruit market.
Million Years Stone Park. Very beautiful: an amazingly beautiful park with tropical
plants, with the oldest petrified trees, age-old Bonsai trees are in harmony
with huge stones, there is a mini zoo on the territory: elephants, tigers,
including the rare white, bears, pandas, parrots are beautiful.
Healthy sleep factory. Latex products of the highest quality. Lie down, check, there is
many products for children for the correct formation of the spine.
Crocodile farm. At first, they watched the crocodiles swarming in the pool and some
dared to feed them chicken. The show is very interesting, the Thais dragged them by the tails, twisted,
put their hands and even their heads in their mouths...
Gallery of gems.
On special trailers they drove around a fictitious mine,
got acquainted with the extraction of gems in the old days ...fun and interesting!
Shop on site: precious stones, what all of Thailand is famous for: very
attractive prices! I strongly advise you to take a closer look: rubies, sapphires, topazes
of amazing beauty natural, processed without metal, as well as in white
and yellow gold, several stones in 1 item. Also natural river pearls:
white, black, with gemstone inserts - eyes run wide...
We did not plan such purchases, but after seeing all this diversity and beauty....
really regretted it. There is a free transfer from the hotel.
Sightseeing Pattaya 3 in 1.
Better to plan it first.
A visit to the observation deck, where the whole of Pattaya is at a glance! The beauty!
Buddhist Temple.
Majestic and beautiful! Learned that every day of the week
birth has its own Buddha - the patron.
We took pictures and bought souvenirs and talismans.
For those who wish for a small amount of remuneration in a special envelope,
real Buddhist Monks performed a small ritual of Fulfillment 1 of your desire:
they tied a special thread-baubles on their hands, illuminating and promising a speedy execution
this desire. We are happy to be a part of it too!
Oceanarium.
A special tunnel-corridor with a variety of representatives of the Siamese
bay. We bought exclusive goods for children in the store, then I looked for
city, nowhere else: baseball caps with a variety of animals, like a soft toy,
on the head: crabs, sharks, crocodiles ...my nephew was extremely happy with the crocodile,
T-shirts with the same mini-animals sewn on, rukzachki with them.
Snake farm.
We got acquainted with different snakes and cobras. For those who wish for 1000 baht
offered to try: snake blood with anti-aging and virus-curing properties,
snake soup and its fried. There were 7 daredevils from our group, my husband and I too
decided ...Blood is like plum juice, not nasty, the soup is light and tasty,
fried snake is like dried fish and looks and tastes.
We watched a breathtaking performance with king cobras, scary - interesting!
Museum of gems.
Gems actually found in Thailand, weighing up to 18 kg.
gemstone paintings are amazing! And another store with natural
stones and items in gold and silver...
Again regretted that they did not plan expensive
purchases, eyes run up from Shine!
Silk factory.
Learned the whole process of natural silk production, from the caterpillar
silkworm to magnificent silk fabrics and products of manual and machine production.
We went on our own not far from the hotel to the park, where everyone can ride on
elephant for 400 baht. we gladly fed the elephant bananas - gobbled up!
For the first time, we regretted that the days and nights of our vacation had ended, we didn’t want to
leave. At the airport they found out that many people live there for 30 days - maximum
possible without a visa. Yes, and it is clear that you need to visit all the excursions
5 times to come and 30 days! maybe more often...
Now, a week later, looking out of our cloudy window, I want to go back!
We talked with the guides, they have been working there for years, which is understandable, beautiful
country, friendly Thais, smiles on everyone's faces,
HEAT, SEA, TROPICS, PARADISE ON EARTH!
