For the first time in a long time, I am filled with excitement while writing a review of a trip abroad. And, perhaps, for the first time, all my Wishlist and fantasies, which usually happen before leaving for a vacation, fully materialized upon arrival at the place. And we were on Koh Samui - a wonderful Thai island that has not yet been polluted by tourists. Fortunately, there are no direct flights to this island from Russia, and I think, largely due to this, there is no “Tagil” here, as in Phuket or Pattaya. The flight through Bangkok is not at all annoying - we walked for an hour and a half around the beautiful Suvanapum airport and another hour of flight on a comfortable Airbus from Bangkok Airways, and the fabulous Koh Samui airport opened its bamboo doors for us.

Within 15 minutes, we were greeted with welcome cocktails and cool, damp towels by the smiling staff of our oasis for the next two weeks, the Synergy Samui Hotel. As soon as I saw a perfectly well-groomed territory, brand new villas and a wide white sand beach twenty steps away, I fell in love with this place completely and irrevocably! Believe me, in my life I have been to more than 20 seaside resorts, in the best chain hotels, and I have something to compare with. The hotel opened just six months ago. They say it was built for a very long time, but in the end the owners managed to create a surprisingly elegant, stylish and cozy place on the best beach of the island.

It would be unfair if I do not mention that Anton Sokolov from Asiahotels. ru helped us choose the hotel - a great professional in his field and an expert in Thailand like the back of his hand. We came to him based on reviews on the Internet, where they wrote about him as the best specialist in Thailand in Russia. Thought - advertising, but now I can responsibly declare: everything is true! I set before Anton, as it seemed to me, impossible requirements: that the hotel be located on a good beach with convenient entry into the water, that there be fine white sand and palm trees near the shore, that you could walk to all sorts of restaurants, pleasures and entertainment, but in at the same time, in order not to be noisy, the room must have been a separate villa with a mandatory sea view, the hotel must not be old and the presence of a gym for her husband. Anton offered a choice of 3 options, in the end we settled on Synergy and, as I understand now, hit the top ten!

The hotel is located just south of the center of Chaweng Beach (it is the largest and most beautiful beach on the island), in my opinion, the location is just perfect. To discos and bars 10 minutes on foot, restaurants for every taste at hand, there are two shops within walking distance and a fruit market. The beach is wide, there are many free sun loungers (note: free, not 200 baht, as in Phuket). The staff is very attentive and well-trained (a rarity for Thais). The hotel is small - only 30 rooms, but not cramped and very green. The rooms were cleaned daily during our absence, which was very convenient. Our villa was quite spacious, made in bright colors, decorated with pleasant design details and all the necessities such as a kettle, an electronic safe, a hair dryer, bathrobes and slippers, a large mirror. Comfortable king size bed with orthopedic mattress. Free wi-fi, which is also important. In the evenings, it was nice to sit in silence on the terrace, look at the sea, listening to the rustling of the waves, and drink homemade cocktails made from coconut milk and local rum (I don’t remember the name). The communal pool is made interesting - it consists of three levels, located in a cascade, and practically adjoins the beach. By the way, the hotel has villas with a private pool, they cost about twice as much as ours. The restaurant is also located almost on the beach, on a small hill. It was nice to start the day with breakfast overlooking the sea. Breakfasts are quite varied, a lot of cold and even hot appetizers, pastries and fruits, but I would add several varieties of cheeses and more seafood. Provide freshly squeezed juices. It is better to have lunch and dinner not in a hotel restaurant, but to take a walk and choose what your heart desires - saving about 2 times. For example, right in front of the hotel there is a delicious and cheap Oasis restaurant.

Once I was in the hotel spa. They work on very good cosmetics, but the quality of the massage seemed average. Especially when compared with Eranda - this is the best spa complex on Koh Samui. I strongly recommend girls and women to go there.

Before leaving, we were presented with a free bottle of red wine in the room. A trifle, but nice. We will definitely return to this hotel next year. Hope it doesn't get damaged. And, of course, we will turn to Anton again. This time, they also booked plane tickets through it at some unrealistically low prices (they flew with Thai Airlines, on the Internet the price for it was 6 thousand higher), and the guides Marina and Denis met us on the spot and helped in every possible way any requests. In general, Koh Samui, wait for us! This is a love that won't last long. This is my personal little paradise that every person on this earth should have.
