Mysterious Kood Island
Back to Thailand! This time I decided to completely immerse myself in relaxation and peace, I thank my family for their understanding and support. We decided to go to the distant and little-known island of Kood.
Our decision was based on the results of a search on the Internet, where the main criterion was a calm, island beach holiday, with a few tourists. So, after generalization and analysis, our choice was on Kood Island.
So, our route Moscow - Bangkok - Trat - Koh Kood (2 weeks) and back. We only spent the night in Bangkok in order to have time to get to the island on the same day, we left Bangkok at 6 in the morning. We ordered a taxi, for our family of 2 adults and a 5-year-old daughter, a quite comfortable sedan.
We got to the city of Trat without delay, the roads are good, there are no traffic jams. Outside the window the sun, solid greenery, grace is simple. Along the way, we stopped several times to refuel and rest. At gas stations, there is a free clean toilet, shops and ATMs. The driver is Thai, smiling and helpful, our minimal English was quite sufficient.
By 12 o'clock we arrived at the pier, boarded a large boat and sailed to Kud. The transfers were pre-ordered and paid for, so I won't dwell on them in detail.
On Kude, we stayed at the Ao Noi Hotel. Simple bungalows, no frills, just the essentials, but amazing beach!
We rented a bike, because The island is quite large and there is nothing within walking distance. We visited other beaches, which one is better than the other. We visited a restaurant near the school, a cafe by the road, fruit shops.
We went fishing on a real fishing boat. We caught a medium-sized barbecue fish, but my ladies got tired and had to reel in the fishing rods ahead of schedule. Then I went with the fishermen alone for the whole day. Tired but happy, he returned with a catch.
We went to have lunch at the school of Thai cuisine. Cunningly so, the wife offered to eat deliciously and at the same time put her hands to it. There was only a Thai chef and I, we repeated all the variations on the theme "A La we throw everything in a row" - otherwise what is the name of the reception, where sugar, salt, pepper, lime, garlic are added to the dish and... I don’t remember anymore... , take pictures they didn’t allow it, apparently they considered us for espionage intelligence, in favor of foreign states : -).
We visited a fishing village where we bought fresh crabs, sweet donuts and various souvenirs.
We visited the rocks in the jungle in the form of ships, swam through the mangroves in a kayak. And the rest of the time they did nothing but swim, sunbathe, enjoy unity and solitude with loved ones surrounded by pure nature.
We left this island full of strength and energy, inspired and happy, hoping to see you soon.
