Chang Buri Resort & Spa 3* room Superior Hill Side / Double The hotel is very decent. Initially, we chose between the two triplets Chang Buri Resort & Spa 3 * and Kacha Resort & Spa Koh Chang 3 *, but we didn’t have time at Kacha Resort & Spa Koh Chang 3 - the hotel was put on stop.

Chang Buri Resort & Spa 3 * - a hotel divided into 2 parts: cottages on the first line and a 3rd floor building on the 2nd - across the road - did not bother. Restaurants and reception are also separate. The infrastructure is very developed - everything is nearby: retail shops, a market, a pharmacy, banks, etc.

As other tourists wrote in the reviews, they settled us in Superior Hill Side / Double room 101. As I understand it, initially this room was designed by the reception staff for the fact that by placing guests in it, they will be able to earn money by replacing the room. The room itself is standard: two beds, a bathroom, a balcony ...They wrote about the unpleasant smell of dampness, I can’t say that this is an objective remark, because on the first floor they all have their own specific smell. But! The view from the window of this 101 room leaves much to be desired - the fence of the supermarket!
Naturally, we went to agree on another room, we even wanted to consider the option of a cottage on the first line, but for this we had to officially pay 750 euros for 8 nights - not cheap! Therefore, we asked for another room in the same building, but on the other side. It just didn't work out like that - "there are no numbers" and that's it! Until they showed their willingness to pay extra by the cashier, they refused us quite categorically! Seeing the currency, they began to rummage through the PC and look for something. The hotel is currently half empty! Found - 120 room on the same floor. Exactly the same, but with one bed and pool view. The room is "extreme" along the corridor, so it was quiet and comfortable to sit on the balcony in the evening and chat. Naturally, I had to pay a little extra.

Breakfast from 7 to 10 - like in hotels in Thailand, Sri Lanka, Goa - nothing special, you won't stay hungry. There is a supermarket next to the hotel - very convenient!
At first we bought fruits in shops, then we realized that prices are lower in the supermarket and there is an opportunity for self-selection. In the evening, street food vendors gather on the main street. At first it was not clear - is it possible to eat it, then - it became a whole process: choose, stand in line, buy and go to the ocean for dinner! Of course, spring rolls, spring rolls and Thai ice cream were our priority - we are girls. But for men there is something to profit from.

We ate dinner at the restaurant once upon arrival. On the first line near the water there is a platform on which there are sun loungers during the day, and tables are set up in the evening. The view is amazing, of course! Dinner - nothing special, but many times more expensive than in cafes on the coast. Waiters, table setting, candles - worth a try.

The hotel does not have its own beach. In order to plunge into the water, you need to go down the stairs. For us, it was not a huge problem.

Even "+", because no one bothers you to swim. Traveling with kids can be a problem. Foreigners, stepping aside, were catching fish. Gear was taken from the hotel. The pool with the most beautiful view, as it is designed in such a way that visually the horizon of the Gulf of Thailand merges with the surface of the pool. Beach towels and sun loungers are free.

We alternated rest at the hotel with a rest on the municipal beach. Just like on most Thai beaches, there are cafes with barkers along the entire length - this adds variety to the rest. During the day they are a little removed from the coastline, but when you order something in a cafe, you have the right to use their sunbed or deck chair. In the evening - when the tide is out, the tables are brought closer to the water. Each institution is transformed due to illumination, which they try not to repeat in their "interior". Playing music, hookah, nice atmosphere!

We took an excursion - a boat trip to the islands.
Ordered not at the hotel, but in one of the tour shops. There were no problems. We enjoyed the walk "under the breeze" and the beauty of the islands that we passed by. They brought monkeys to the island, where they sat in a flock and waited for tourists who fed them with bananas. There was one stop on a beautiful island where we were treated to watermelons and lunches.

All in all I can recommend this hotel. And, by the way, we were also very impressed with the Anex tour at the airport, when at the meeting they gave us woven backpacks stuffed with all sorts of pleasant little things (there was even a starter pack for local communication) and put on us beads made of fresh flowers.
