I read the reviews and am horrified - is this really the fabulous hotel in which I was a month and a half ago....We really lived in a two-story building almost on the shore. The room is good, everything you need is there (a kettle with tea, coffee, sugar, shampoo, shower gel), everything was replenished every day. Our friends lived across the road in the Mandalay building, but they also liked everything. Yes, without any frills, yes, go across the road, but everything is nearby, and the price for the tour just differed by 22 thousand for 10 days in connection with this accommodation.
The hotel is big like a jungle. If you go up to the rooms on the rock, you will get to a gorgeous pool with a gorgeous view and monkeys.
Kai Bay beach, in my opinion, is one of the best on Koh Chang (I'm not here for the first time), the sea is not shallow, there are few algae, the water is the cleanest. I enjoyed swimming very much. Here you can take a kayak and swim to the neighboring islands. The big dance of the hotel is its position. Everything is nearby . . and cafes and shops, nearby is an elephant farm and a beach where you can swim with a baby elephant.

Vacationers in hotels are mostly Russian, many from the northern regions, and I have not seen a single person who would not like the hotel and the beach. Surprised that almost all vacationers come here (many to this hotel) is not the first time.
The only thing I agree with is that I wish there was more choice at breakfast. Even though we didn't go hungry.
I really want to go back to this place.... .
