This year, the choice of where to rest qualitatively and inexpensively fell on Thailand, namely on Koh Samui! We decided to rest without resorting to the help of all kinds of travel agencies....and then our throwing around booking began in search of a normal, inexpensive hotel, not far from a civilized beach (preferably Lamai). We stumbled upon Samui Seabreeze Place, there are almost no reviews, because our compatriot likes to go to hotels that are offered by travel agencies and preferably on the first line (for which they overpay decent money! ). We decided to go! There were problems with the booking on booking, it was canceled twice ((((As a result, they wrote off the hotel by mail, to which we were told - come, there will be no problems with the settlement!
And so we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly received (the hostess is a very nice and caring girl! ). We settled in a room, of course not 5 stars, but we did not expect that! Everything works, clean, cleaning every day! As for me, that is, there is one minus, there is no kettle - but it doesn’t have to be in the three-ruble note! I had to go to the store to buy coffee from vending machines.
I’ll write about breakfast: many reviews say that breakfast is very poor (initially they offer an American breakfast - eggs or scrambled eggs, sausages or ham, croissant or toast, tea, coffee, juice, fruit), but in practice it turned out to be completely different - in fact from the entire menu you can choose any dish within 150 baht! Therefore, we had broths for breakfast, and fried rice with seafood or meat, and pasta, and salads! All you have to do is ask and the possibilities expand!

Beach! It's only a minute and a half to go to the beach! There is a minus - there are few sunbeds (10 pieces for 2 hotels), in the season it is probably necessary to borrow more from the night. Another question is that some genius of plumbing science came up with these sunbeds - no matter how you fold them, they still fall apart!
Entertainment. We took motorbikes, so we traveled almost the entire island on our own. On our trips, GPS from the phone helped, without it we would get lost and could not find pagodas and an excellent observation deck in the southern Samui nooks and crannies! We were also at the waterfall and the zoo with him (for only 100 baht per person), we didn’t stay at the show, because we watched the same in Pattaya. We rode an elephant, went to the Tiger Zoo, watched shows with tigers and parrots, were on the Big Buddha and in the temple not far from it (I really liked it! ). Well, to calm the souls, they were in Chaweng, after which they sighed and calmed down that they settled not there, but precisely on Lamai.
From a paid one, we took an excursion to the Ang Thong National Marine Park, sailed for a long time on the ferry, but still swam, kayaked, climbed a 900-meter (high) observation deck, tried to swim with masks, but it didn’t work out - the water is muddy and poor bottom. They fed us lunch and light breakfast in the morning. Paid 1800 baht per person. At 5 pm we were at the hotel.
Near the hotel there are many cafes where you can have a hearty lunch for a reasonable price, but if you want cheap and cheerful, then go to the area of go-go bars in the evening, there are mobile carts "macashnitsy", there you can eat to satiety for 400 baht for two.
You can safely buy souvenirs and clothes on Lamai, because in other places of the island it is definitely more expensive, and of course, bargain and you will be happy!
At the end of the holiday, the owner of the hotel gave us a keychain, a trifle, but nice! In the morning before departure, even before the opening of the dining room, we were fed breakfast, thanks to the hostess for their care!
She called us a taxi, we left for the airport... and then there was Bangkok, but that's another story!

Conclusion, we rested 14 days for $2000 including Bangkok and flight from/to Koh Samui (not including flight Kyiv-Bangkok-Kyiv). In Bangkok, they spent money on the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Siam Ocean World, taxis and food.
Sorry for such a long review, I hope it was informative for someone!
