The hotel is very big, as you can see from the pictures, there are several buildings, we lived in the building that is closest to the beach. It’s good to go to the beach, but when I was going to take a walk in the city, I had to walk along the alley to the tuk-tuks, you could order a taxi from the building itself.
Another big minus was that the hotel is large, there were a lot of people on New Year's Eve, and, accordingly, it was simply impossible to take a sunbed near the pool, which was located by the sea! We somehow returning early in the morning from a walk (about 5 am), saw that the tourists went out and occupied sunbeds there, at such and such a time!!!! ! Of course, things may have changed now. But you should not worry, there is far from one pool, and you can also lie on the beach on the sand.
As for sports equipment, be VERY careful.
Our boy rode a jet ski, due to a malfunction he could not dodge the boat ...in short, a nightmare, thank God he did not break anything, but he received deep abrasions. So we were still accused that we ruined the motorcycle. Thank you very much to the manager, ours was taken to the hospital and given first aid, we had to stitch and bandage. True, all subsequent treatment was at my own expense, since such entertainment was not covered by insurance ...: (
Feeding is good, but in Thailand it is better to eat in restaurants and cafes, it is very varied and inexpensive (if you are afraid, just look at how many people are in the restaurant, if there are a lot, then you can eat : )). We ordered the hotel only with breakfast, and we ate lunch and dinner wherever we wanted, we were very satisfied!
On the territory of the hotel there is a small "market" (several stalls with fruit), if you are too lazy to go to the city, then you can buy fruit there (even friends from Botany Beach came to us for fruit, this is the next hotel along the coast). There are also shops in the hotel itself.
But better take a taxi, or even better a tuk-tuk and go to the city! Everyone will find something for themselves! I, as a representative of the weaker sex, was completely killed by shopping, I bought shoes there, for which I would have paid 4 times more in Moscow, the quality did not disappoint, so far all the shoes are in good condition.
