They were staying in the Ocean Wing in a deluxe room. Unfortunately, wanting to save money and not being as knowledgeable about the structure of the hotel as I am today, I booked a standard room at Ambassador City. On the spot it turned out that my booked room is located in the Garden Wing building. Before the trip, I read reviews about the hotel - I did not read anything good. I also looked at a photo on the Internet of a standard room - I was very pleased! I went with the thought that if the reviews are true, it doesn’t matter: you can only spend the night at the hotel. When I got to my room, I was in hysterics! It wasn’t easy for me to be not happy, I was shaking with horror: how to sleep in a hotel where ROCKARCOATS are teeming? ! The rest of the remarks about the room were significant, but not as terrible as ROCKOCHOCKS, for example, the furniture and plumbing were so old and dirty that the clothes had to be laid out (and dried during the rest) on bags, since there were enough bags to cover the entire room with them ! In the bath, on the ceiling, felts of snot hung, felts of some kind of unprecedented mushrooms sprouted. On the same day, having photographed the evidence, I went to the TeZ-tour office to ask for help in changing the number. There they wrote me a note in Thai for the receptionist. After this procedure, we were offered several rooms to choose from for free in the same building! Bottom line: we chose a room without snot on the ceiling in the bath, and we had to put up with unsanitary conditions and cockroaches! In general, the room matched the photo on the Internet, a large area, two double snow-white beds, otherwise photoshop worked well!
And now about the good : ) in general, the territory of the hotel is good, I really liked the pools, especially the one with a bar in the middle in Ocean Wing! The beach is clean, the sea may not be the cleanest, but certainly cleaner than on the city beach of Pattaya. Those who are interested in a clear sea can go to the island of Koh Samed, or Koh Lang.
The hotel is far from the center. It didn't bother me! But who goes for the sake of parties, bars, discos and erotic shows, do not choose this hotel - splurge on a taxi at night!
As I wanted, I went on excursions every day. I recommend the crocodile farm, the Nong Nooch garden with the most beautiful elephant show, the rest on the Kwai River!
