I decided to write a review about the February trip to Pattaya, Ambassador City Jomtien Hotel, Ocean wing, cameraman - Natalie Tours. I remembered this trip because now we are going to (finally! ) send our parents to Thailand. They certainly want to Pattaya, so that there is more civilization, although I would rather send them to the islands. But if it’s Pattaya, then it’s Ambassador City Jomtien, especially since there is a special offer for it now, and a parent trip will cost less than ours.

I have something to compare with, I was in Pattaya twice in different hotels, and although they were of the same star rating, the difference is heaven and earth. I don’t want to name the second one, so that unreasonable abuse doesn’t come out - maybe I’ll somehow be able to write a review.

So, Ambassador is located quite far from the city center, but this is its main advantage. Pattaya is an interesting place, but living there or nearby is not worth it.

Moreover, getting to the center is not so long: 20-25 minutes by tuk-tuk, it costs 20 baht per person (the baht is approximately equal to the ruble). If you take a taxi - 200 baht, for two is normal.

But due to the remoteness on the territory there is no specific smell of Pattaya, and also a beach where you can really swim! Of course, you should not compare it with the paradise beaches of Koh Samui or Koh Samet. But for those who want to combine proximity to Pattaya and swimming, this is an ideal option. Neither on the city beach of Pattaya, nor in the very second hotel where we were a couple of years ago, you can’t swim categorically. And here the sand and water are really clean, I didn’t want to get out of the water. We were in February - they say it's cleaner there in winter than in autumn, for example, but I can't say for sure.

The hotel consists of several buildings, the best of them (and the only four-star) is Ocean, where we lived.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable, daily cleaning, the lobby is gigantic and very beautiful, the staff is friendly, the food is delicious for lovers of local cuisine, and not only. In general, all the signs of a good Thai hotel are there.

Separately, I will mention the pools - that's where there is enough space for everyone, they are really huge. Although the sun loungers are next to them, there could be more on the beach.

On the territory there is a market with fruits and souvenirs, and surprisingly, the prices are the same as in Pattaya, although there is almost no competition from vendors near the hotel, and they could break.

Massage can be done on the beach (200-250 baht per hour) or in salons across the road. We are fans of this case, we did it every day.

There is no special entertainment in the hotel, but for me this is a huge plus. When we wanted to have fun - we went to Pattaya, we didn’t want to - we stayed in a quiet, calm hotel. No annoying discos.

In general, the rest was excellent.
We are crazy about Thailand, we always take a lot of excursions. If you have not been to this country yet, I envy you: you will discover everything for yourself for the first time!
