Отдых - супер! Rest is great!

Good day! I want to share my impressions of the trip. My husband and I went on vacation to Thailand almost 3 months ago, but the impressions are still fresh, and the most positive))) Immediately I want to say special thanks to the TPG tour operator - well done guys! A distinctive feature from larger operators is that they carry tourists in small groups of 8-10 people in minibuses - and this is more comfortable and convenient than on large buses in large groups. Before that, my husband and I traveled quite a lot, but nowhere have I seen such that the guides were so attentive. Sasha, Lena, Seryozha and Thai guide Sarah - well done! It was thanks to them that my husband and I were in our photographs together (and not one at a time, as is usually the case) - the guys are constantly nearby and take pictures of their tourists everywhere.
Immediately upon arrival at the hotel, our guide met us, gave us local SIM cards, a map of the city, and told us everything in detail what was happening.
About the weather... The first day (September 11) met us with a long downpour - there was even a flood in Pattaya, but we didn’t get into it, because we arrived early in the morning, then everything was almost dry))) BUT despite the downpour, in the first day we managed to get a tan - so the rainy season in Thailand is not a hindrance to tanning. But just because of this downpour, we felt all the charm of this hotel... The fauna in the hotel made such a variety of sounds that it seemed that you were in a tropical forest!

The hotel area is large and very beautiful. For the first 5 days we lived in a common building, then we moved to a villa, because when we bought the tour, the rooms in the common building were already occupied for the rest of the time. The villa is more expensive of course, but it's worth it and we did not regret it at all. In the general building - standard rooms, quite clean, linen is changed every day without any comments, bottled water is also left every day, they do not save. The general building was closer to the sea than the villa, near the pool. But the audibility is excellent. You can hear what the neighbors are talking about and what channel they are watching on TV. Well, apparently we were also well heard, but these are trifles))) The villa was much quieter. The villas are located near another pool, and for the entire time of our stay there, only we and our neighbor swam in it. Peace and quiet, apparently the rest of the vacationers simply did not know about this pool. The villa itself is decorated in a more interesting way, and the bathroom actually looks like a separate large room.
Meals... Breakfast at the hotel was included in the price, everything is tasty and varied, there is plenty to choose from. For lunch and dinner we went to different restaurants of our hotel, restaurants on the beach and in other hotels. There is one wonderful restaurant on the beach - if you walk along the coast towards the Ambassador Hotel - you will see a small, simple cafe with plastic furniture, fruit is sold nearby. Do not be afraid that the cafe is so simple - the food there is very tasty. And you can enjoy the sunset by the sea during dinner)))
Beach. . . The hotel was not in the best condition (the locals said it was because of the rainy season). Therefore, we swam in the pool and went to the island of Samet - there is white sand and clear sea.
Excursions... We went on four excursions with a tour operator (3 in Pattaya and 1 in Bangkok) - everything is super! In addition, we also went to the island of Samet and on a two-day trip to the Kwai River - but these excursions were bought from the Sasha Tour agency - opposite the hotel, across the road. There they are cheaper than the operator, about 1.5 times. There you can also exchange dollars for baht at a favorable rate, since only the local currency is accepted everywhere. And advice for those who are going to Thailand - take large dollars with you, as the rate changes depending on the denomination of banknotes, and for small ones the rate is the most disadvantageous. I won’t tell you in detail about the excursions, so that it would be more interesting for you later on the trip, but I will say one thing - no matter what excursion you go on, you won’t regret it! )))

And when you choose a hotel, don’t be afraid that the hotel is not in the city itself, since it will be easy to get to the city at any time, transport is there around the clock, but the beach will be cleaner, and the hotel territory itself is better, and you can be in solitude with nature whenever you want. And those tourists who rested in a hotel in Pattaya itself complained about the unpleasant smell of sewerage and the fact that they constantly have to deal with girls of easy virtue in the corridors (and everyone probably knows that this is what Pattaya is famous for)
