Cozy hotel for a family

Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For a relaxing holiday; For families with children
The hotel is good. The service is excellent, the food is normal, the territory is beautiful, the sea is more or less.
Stayed at the Botany Beach Hotel. I liked the hotel itself, I chose it based on the numerous positive reviews from tourists. Very good service. We were met with a glass of orange juice with ice, escorted to the room, shown how to use the lighting, air conditioning, etc.
The room has a minibar with soft drinks, chips, cookies, etc. Bed linen and towels were changed every day, 2 half-liter bottles of drinking water were put in, paper napkins, ear sticks, shampoo, shower gel and soap were given as they were used. It is customary for maids to leave 20 baht (15 rubles). Hairdryer to take at the reception (free of charge).

The food at the hotel was edible, but only pineapples were tasty. Every day was about the same: ham, sausages, fried bacon (like bacon), boiled eggs, chicken in 2 sauces and both are either sweet or spicy, boiled rice, rice or pasta with sauce, musli, scrambled eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, pineapples, watermelon, papaya and pastries, 3 types of juice, tea, coffee. Given that sausages, ham and bacon were not very edible, then I always took chicken, rice, pineapples and watermelons. Managed to get bored with everything except pineapples.
In the paid cafe at the hotel, I ate only 1 time, it was expensive, and a couple of beetles flew to me from a tree, which I am very afraid of, so I didn’t eat there anymore . .
The advantage of the hotel is a large beautiful area, I have never seen such a territory anywhere else when I stopped by people on excursions to other hotels.
The hotel has 2 swimming pools. One is quite large, nice to swim, there is a jacuzzi.
A big advantage for me is free internet!!!
Cons: A very tall hotel is being built next to the large pool. The constant screeching disturbed the poolside and the beach. Everything is calm at night, so you can sleep without problems, but only until 7 in the morning : )
Another inconvenience is the great distance of the hotel from the city. On a separate bus without stops you need to go 30 minutes. By tuk-tuk with a transfer near Big C - at least 40 minutes. The sea near the hotel is not very clean, there is a pier nearby. The cleanliness is comparable to the Black Sea.
So if someone prefers a beach holiday, I would advise you to take a hotel near the city pier, Volkin Street and go to the nearest island to a paid beach. The trip takes 40 minutes by ship (20 baht) + 10 minutes by tuk-tuk or motorbike (40-50 baht). Sun lounger rental - 50 baht. As a result, you pay 150 rubles. and you get an azure absolutely transparent water in which fish swim.
And near Botany Beach, however, as elsewhere in Pattaya, the water smells of something unpleasant, so you don’t want to swim there after the island.

In general, I would recommend the hotel for pensioners, young couples who prefer a secluded holiday, families with children who find it inconvenient to travel to the island in order to swim. The sea is in close proximity to the hotel. There is no road near the sea! This is a very big rarity for Pattaya, because both in the center and on Jomtien, the sea is everywhere across the road. Only a few hotels do not have a road near the beach - Botany Beach, Ambassador, Ocean Marina and some other small nearby hotels (this is in the south).
The advantage of the location - it does not stink like everywhere else in the city, it is located on the Sukhumvit highway. On it you can quickly get to any part of the city, transfer to perpendicular streets and go deep into the city. On it you can also get to many attractions - Nong Nooch, Mini Siam, Crocodile Farm, Aquarium and Lukdod store.
