Hello everyone! We went to Thailand in November 08 in Pattaya, Cozy Beach Hotel.
In principle, I am not inclined to give an absolute negative or positive review, so I'll just write all the pros and cons. : ))
To begin with, the purpose of our trip was: the maximum possible number of excursions, entertainment and impressions.
The hotel was chosen on the advice of a friend from a travel agency.
Of the pluses: and this is the most important plus, in my opinion, the PLACEMENT of the hotel. Nearby there is everything - massage parlors (there you can wash your hair and do a cool styling), a lot of shops, cafes (be sure to eat on the so-called "concrete tables" - awesome chops! ), a lot of fruit sellers, and what kind of banana pancakes are there !! ! - six months have passed since our trip, we still remember !! ! say that you need hot ones and he will cook them right there! : )))
And the beach at the hotel OWN! going down the stairs, in my opinion, is even very useful! so we went out to the beach at night and walked there! or just sat on the shore and looked at the sea : ))
Food-breakfast-buffet-sausages, scrambled eggs, delicious pastries, awesome juices, a salad you can make yourself from the proposed vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce), a couple of sauces, fruits (mostly, however, they liked to eat pineapples), awesome pancakes - in general, we ate to the dump (we took, which is natural for Tai, only included breakfasts): ))
Beach towels without problems (there is a counter in front of the pool, they are issued on cards). We went to the pool at 9 am, so people were not observed (and after that they always left until late in the evening).
Of the minuses: 1. The rooms are very modest (despite the fact that we did not expect much luxury), the overhead light did not work (but they fixed it right there). We were placed on the 2nd floor and our balcony unsuccessfully went out to the lower roof and trees (but we we were not particularly upset, we had dinner on the balcony only once, when we were especially tired : )))
2. The pool, unfortunately, does not work after 7 pm (and is not even illuminated, although several times they tried to persuade the staff to give us the opportunity to swim : ))
3. The staff does not really understand English and, moreover, Russian.
But we really liked it, because we only spent the night and changed clothes in the hotel! And we didn’t have any special problems! : )))
