My husband and I flew at the beginning of October 2012 on our honeymoon trip! We flew with Transaero. The impression is more negative than positive. The plane leaves much to be desired. 9 hours of flight, and the TVs in the back of the front seat do not work, BUT in this case, the flight attendants, "completely by chance" offer to rent a dvd player and the rent is nothing, 1000 rubles! Complete stupidity!! ! But we set ourselves up positively, especially the honeymoon trip! The meeting side of the Biblio-Globe! Well done guys! When we met at the airport, they immediately put on a necklace of orchids around the neck! A trifle, but nice, and immediately plunge into the atmosphere of rest and complete relaxation! They rushed to the hotel quickly, and settled in the rooms without delay! We had a standard room (there are tips to take superior in a 14-storey building... it's just newer. By the way, our standard was also in a 14-storey building, but as soon as we opened the door, we saw 2 separate beds! I immediately went to the reception Everyone at the reception speaks excellent English, so there will be no problems. By the way, Thais speak Russian better than English. Since my husband and I have perfect English, we tried to express ourselves properly in the international language))) and they in response to us: "speak Russian, please"))) In general, I explained what the problem was, and said that we had a honeymoon . . the surnames were still different, since we flew away 2 days after the wedding. Taechka looked at her documents and said that they did not have any note that we had a honeymoon. BUT, I immediately called a Thai man (I think their boss) and after 3 minutes I had the key to another room in my hands. When we entered the room, we were stunned... it was a Suite cozy type (look at the hotel website), of which there are only 6 in the hotel! The room is cool, just huge and awesome king size bed, which I just adore!
And most importantly, when at the reception, asking to change our room or our honeymoon will be ruined, I offered money (the secret understood me very well that I was ready to pay 50-100 dollars for a new room) and after handing me the keys, I asked how much it costs this replacement. With a smile on her face, she answered me that everything is absolutely free!
In general, what can be said about the hotel. It is positioned as 3 *, but in fact it is a solid 4 *. I have something to compare! I've traveled enough! Cleaned every day and very good. We left 20 baht for tea. I won’t list all the pros, there are many in other reviews! By the way, it was by reading the reviews that I chose this hotel! The breakfasts are quite good! And I still can’t understand people who write that breakfasts are very monotonous! You might think that those who write about the monotony themselves prepare a breakfast of 15 different dishes! People, don't worry! ! Bulk food and miscellaneous. . . chicken, even two kinds of sausages, eggs cooked to your heart's content (omelettes, fried eggs, scrambled eggs with vegetables), rice, thai noodles, vegetables, fruits, yogurts, and pastries in bulk. In general, we crawled out of the restaurant, and thought about food closer to dinner! We dined most often in Van Pen. The shrimp with garlic is simply gorgeous! (look more carefully in the menu . . there is for 250 baht, and after a couple of pages there is for 150 baht - here they are the most delicious . . I even began to eat shrimp tails. ) But unpretentious about the interior, I want to advise a cafe on the corner... near store entrance. You will not be mistaken when you see a healthy plastic basin with water in which live shrimp swim (you can choose which ones you like and they will cook them there in front of you) . . this cafe is even hard to call a cafe . . it's just a few tables, there is a transparent showcase and there are all sorts of goodies... grilled catfish, grilled mackerel is just chic. But the most delicious is, of course, Tom Yum soup with shrimp!! ! I have never tried this soup anywhere else! Now I remember and salivating flow! Oh, and the green papaya salad is delicious too! I didn’t really like the sushi near the hotel . . not very tasty and 15 rubles each. If you want better sushi, then in the evening go up the street towards Savannah and there will be a showcase with different types of sushi . . it’s tastier there and they already cost 10 rubles. Buy pancakes with bananas from a Thai man (he has the most delicious ones). There is also a girl who powders her face with flour))) she also makes pancakes, but all the same, the Thai tastes better! Yes, try the shawarma! It's also delicious... but this is so if you have a snack.

I advise you to do a massage in Savannah (a decent massage parlor up the street . . if you go towards the Big Buddha).
More about the hotel . . very pleased with its good location! And it’s not far from the center of Pattaya (a couple of times we went to Walking Street on foot . . somewhere about 15 minutes, by taxi about 3 minutes to go) and to the hotel’s own beach a couple of minutes with an imposing step. There is a ladder that you need to go down to the beach, but it's not annoying. There are 3 pools in the hotel. But we constantly hung out only in the big one, the one with elephants. We went to the pool of another building only once. By the way, you can swim in bassiks even at night... people who don’t go to hang out in the city crawl out to the pool in the evening, and sit, drink and swim until 3-5 hours. They did it themselves... class!
Tours visited:
the river Kwai (total delight) I advise you to take Kwai + Erawan.
We bought all excursions near the hotel at the Sun Sand Beach travel agency (from Yura). He also gave us discounts. Quite a standard for many 2600, and some for 3000, and he gave us discounts of 2400. I understand a trifle, but it's nice... although we have all the excursions for 2 people . . so all the excursions turned out to be not a trifle! The only thing who wants to watch real Thai boxing at the stadium is better to get together 4-6 people, order a taxi or tuk tuk, then it will be cheaper. It is better to go on this "excursion" by yourself. We bought from Yura, it turned out 1500 from the nose, and if you go by yourself, the ticket costs 1200. That is, 300 rubles from the nose, this is transportation costs, so to speak... although it was some kind of jamb, they were transported only in one direction. You yourself understand that it is more profitable to travel in a campaign.
I really liked the tour "Crocodile farm and the garden of multimillion-year-old stones" - we had a free sightseeing tour from Biblio Globus.

Then we went to "Sea Adventures", not very enthusiastic. Boring. I did not like the Russian guides on the boat (for passengers with children it will do, but for younger and more cheerful tourists - no). I can advise a similar excursion "Sea Safari" - that's where they ride on bananas and on buns . . in general, it will be livelier and more interesting.
Be sure to visit Nong Nooch Garden. Even my husband was delighted, but at first he categorically refused to go.
I also advise you to visit the beaches of the island of Koh Larn. The beauty. You get to the Bali Hai pier, and there Thais on scooters will immediately drive up to you and take you to the boat that goes to the islands. I advise you to go to Tien Beach (this is a red sticker). A ferry ticket costs 150 rubles round trip, the main thing is to say "tien" and you will get a red sticker on your T-shirt. The ferry leaves every hour. We set off at 9.00... to sail there for about 30 minutes, as it seemed to me. First comes the "green" beach, but according to friends there are many Indians, Chinese and Arabs. Then the "red" beach. The ferry slows down near the beach, a long boat swims up and everyone with red stickers plunges into it. by boat 3 minutes and you are on the beach! You can go back at 2, at 4 and the last flight at 5 o'clock. In the same way (the main thing is not to lose the tickets that you were given when buying tickets at the pier). Again loaded into the boat, on the ferry and on the pier! As soon as you get off the ferry, you will see tuk-tuks and next to them there will be drivers who will shout out the name of your hotel... this is the tuk-tuk and you have to sit down. If you haven't heard the names, don't be afraid to ask. . . tuk tuk drivers will tell you which car to get into. Travel to the hotel costs 30 rubles. In general, everything is very simple. Everything is well organized! And do not worry about a taxi for 100-150 rubles to your hotel.
Yes, we went to the x-show and Alcazar transfestit show. X-show - not so hot. Nothing special! Wow, they play drums there with their princhendals !! ! I was also surprised! My husband and I can do this)))) Although for the general development you can look. Although they expected more in the style of "shocking Asia". Even Alcazar liked more! I recommend. Although men are likely to be bored. Fortunately, it doesn’t last long. Actually, it’s convenient... when you order an excursion, they take you there for free, and then they also wait after the end of the show (whether it’s x-show, alcazar, tiffany, etc. ), and then wherever you go said, I’ll take you there and we usually went to the center for a walk, where Festival, Royal, Walking Street)

Too bad we didn't get to stay there! 12 days is NOTHING for Ty! Next time we will be smarter and go for 15-20 days.
The rest was very eventful, and then we did not have time to see much! The impressions about the rest are the most positive! The hotel is worthy! The country is great!
The only fly in the ointment was again brought in by our air company on the way back! The flight was difficult and so, the whole flight was turbulent, once it shook so hard that our cups fell out of our hands! But the pilots are great, which I cannot say about the flight attendants. Waiting for it is simply not realistic, so we ourselves then went to pour juice for ourselves. And they checked in 3 bags in luggage, in Moscow they received 2. One remained in Bangkok. But, no one is immune from this. But there will be something to remember.
I recommend this hotel to everyone and wish you a pleasant stay!
