We rested in Pattaya in December 2009. We chose the Dor Shada hotel because of the beautiful territory and did not regret our choice a bit. For all 10 days of our stay, we did not find a single minus (and we didn’t really look for it : )). The hotel definitely draws on its 4 stars (for now, four more, but, as we were told at the reception, Dor Shada will soon receive 5 stars). In short, the food is excellent, the staff is hyper attentive but unobtrusive, the rooms are large, cozy and clean. Cleaning ladies clean well and without any tips. No theft was observed. The beach is quite well maintained, there are always free sunbeds. The sea, one might say, is clean and very warm. We didn’t see any living creatures, except that some small jellyfish appeared one day, but harmless : ).
Separately, I want to note the excursions. On the day of our arrival, the hotel guide offered a large number of different trips, but since this is not the first time we are resting abroad, we only politely nodded our heads to the guide and promised to think and choose. Since before leaving, I scoured the Internet and read that people praise the Sasha Travel agency, we decided to take one tour from them first, and then, if you like it, then all the others. Moreover, it is located right across the street from the hotel . In total, we visited four places from this office: Bangkok (for one day), the Kwai River (two-day excursion), Sammet Island and Tiffany Show (transvestite show, although “transgender show” would be more correct) - we liked so much how the staff of this agency work with tourists, the prices are very, very reasonable (if we took all this from a hotel guide, we would pay almost twice as much, and it’s not a fact that it would be twice as good : )).
I would like to say a special Big Thank you to Russian guide Denis and Thai Sasha. These guys not only talked about this or that place, about the traditions and customs of Thailand in an interesting and humorous way, but they were also very patient and attentive to their tourists. Also, it was a pleasant surprise that during the trip to the Kwai River we the entire tour group) from the travel agency were treated to fruits, they seemed to give some more water and wet wipes. In general, the service is at a decent level. Keep it up guys!!!

In general, if anyone has doubts about the hotel / resort, then drive them away, you will not only not be disappointed, but you will get an ocean of pleasure and a whole bunch of the most pleasant memories! P. S. Thailand is, in my opinion, one of those few countries that you want to return to more than once.
